Wonderful hotel in a beautiful area. Really close to the Lake and also to Reno or Carson City in Nevada. The hotel is equipped with the Laundry room (1.5$). Clean and cosy.

The facilities might need an upgrade. The air conditioning is pretty loud. Although the water pressure is good, the shower head seems to be outdated.

A doormat would go a long way to keeping the carpets cleaner, especially in winter. A boot tray would be even better.

Bath tub could have some care. Non-slip stickers were tearing out and drain was starting to clog. Another pet peeve (not a complaint): I could use a floor rubber mat to drop my snow boots. I wish I could find a channel guide for the TV available. Maybe it was there but I didn't really care about watching much, just finding something for the kids.

Pretty good. Room is relatively spacious and even if not the most modern, it looked relatively clean. I had pretty low expectations for the breakfast and it was pretty fair. Every morning we had available: bagels w/ a toast, cream cheese, apples, oranges, OJ, milk, instant oatmeal, fresh coffee, etc. Maintenance at the hotel prevented any slippery floor even after some snow storms, and I appreciate that a lot as my family had 0 accidents due to icy floor. Plus one for lending me a snow scraper to clean up my car. Room heater was good enough, mini fridge was spacious, shower was great. The king bed was super comfy. It's not a luxury brand, don't expect that, but for the price and location, you can't beat it.

The slot we had available over Valentine’s Day weekend was a bit expensive. Still less than some hotels I checked though. The continental breakfast was very basic, but hit the spot.

Excellent location, the skiers in our group walked straight to the big Heavenly gondola. Helpful and friendly staff, solid wifi, reliable hot water and heating, big fridge and good microwave, adequate parking (tight lot was built before everyone started driving XL vehicles, back out carefully!) good snow/ice management, rooms big enough for all the extra space ski gear takes up. Breakfast isn't fancy, but there's plenty and bagels/oatmeal/hot coffee will get you going and save the time and $ of eating out. They assigned us adjoining rooms w/o stairs, good for my mother with a bum ankle. Not sure but seems like a small/family business, which I sure prefer to a big megacorp!
