We only had a double bed which was not good.

The front desk staff was a little slow and if you had a little question to ask (ie - another key for your room, more toilet paper etc...) you had to wait the line of check in\out. There was no one there for immediate assitance for small issues.

The location was great! in the heart of everything. We were a party of 3 and the room had 2 double beds, which was great for us. The price was very reasonable for what we got, so we were very happy with our hotel selection

room could have used a smaller extra chair. Of course, I booked on booking and I hear the rooms given to bookings people are not the best....as for the view, I will continue to use bookings.com! Restaurant food was a little cool when delivered.

Unfortunately, the hotel industry chooses to triple the room rates for this weekend because of the marathon. I would go more often if the hotel prices weren’t so outrageous.

Historic hotel conveniently located for Boston Marathon weekend. Easy to walk to expo, gear check, starting busses and finish line. Friendly staff

The bed was a bit small and too soft for our taste.

The location is fantastic, inside the Freedom Trail and just a short walk to Boston Common. The Breakfast is very good as well. You can get complimentary water bottles from the reception.

The bathroom was dated and the tub did not have a working stopper. The internet service was suboptimal, and did not work at times. The television choices were poor.

house keeping came by at 9:15 and woke me up. I wasn't expecting a housekeeping call because I was checking out that day and had got in very late.

I love the downtown location. The room was small but cute, classic and felt historical. Bed was very comfortable.

The rooms were a little dated, could use and update. Bathrooms were fine but carpet seemed worn. The televisions were very dated. These are minor things, I didn’t come to Boston to watch TV in my room. But would be nice to see some technologies updated when I do want to relax at night.

Location was amazing, the history of the hotel was fascinating. The ambiance and decor in the lobby and hotel bar was stunning. Food and drink very reasonable.

Only one thing, the noise. The walls were so thin that I could hear the man in the next room on the phone. I heard the whole conversation. My 14 year old son said he heard some very interesting conversations at 2 am between a man and a woman. 😬

The staff was excellent. The hotel's history was an unexpected bonus and made the hotel so charming. The Starbucks was so convenient. I would definitely recommend.

Resort fee charged daily seemed silly since there is no resort, no pool, no room service accessible and credit card machines did not work. Everything had to be charged to the room. It was a little annoying when I had cash and could have tipped cash as well. Walls are thin so loud angry screaming man in the room next to you might be a problem. Just ask security to have a talk with them. I feared for his family's lives! Literally.

Thank Goodness for the business center. We had to print our tickets and no one at the hotel could print due to services being down. The business center printers worked! We never ate at Parkers because it was only open for breakfast and lunch and we would leave early on our travel adventures and return late and they were closed. We did et at The Last Hurrah and the food was good but WAY overpriced! 14,00 for a tiny basket of pretzel bits and a thimble of cheese was ridiculous but it was good and we ordered it twice. LOL The hotel location is PERFECT! Bean Town Pub next door to drink a cold Samuel Adams while looking across the street at the cold and dead Samuel Adams grave, Close to Fanueil Hall and Quincy Market, Walgreens down the street, Boston Commons across the street... Really a great location. We were in a deluxe room with two double beds and it was tight for two of us and suit cases. The rooms are small as is the bath but really you are not there to sit in the room so we did not care. They room was nice and comfortable and the linens were comfy. I just wanted a bigger television. Shower pressure was the best I have ever had at a hotel and plenty of hot water. We were on the 12th floor and had a lovely view over the church next door and the bridge in the distance. The staff was excellent and the doormen, security and servers/bartenders were all friendly and helpful.
