The meds were a little older and one mattress was a bit saggy, but still comfortable enough for the few nights we stayed.

It made you feel like you were in a cabin without paying pricing. It also had a large fridge that had an actual freezer, which was great if you are staying for a longer time. I also loved being right in the creek.

Everything was good. I just didn’t like the floor my socks were filthy every night I put a towel on the floor to wipe my feet on before I got in bed. I had to ask the room service to come in and mop them. He politely did. They need to us a mop and bucket to clean the floors instead of the squirt and mop swiffer style. The Breakfast was good although it was the exact same every morning for 7 days. The servers were great. The whole staff was great

Though the room was clean, the tub faucet dripped, and the hotel itself needs cosmetic repair. Maybe it was because we were there in early April, but it seemed the hotel was passed it's heyday.

We enjoyed the sound of the brook behind our room and wished the weather was warmer to enjoy the balcony, pool, and maybe a fire. Breakfast was very good and served by a friendly server. The hotel was in walking distance to the main strip.

After Twin Islands burned several yrs ago, Brookside is the only place we stay. We generally go at least 2-3xs a year.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were not in the best shape. The elevator was sketchy and the exercise room equipment was in poor condition and would not turn on. There was no soap in the dispensers to wash hands after use of the equipment.

The balcony by the creek and the location was nice. The turndown service was good. Plenty of towels and necessities convenient breakfast option and friendly staff.

While it was clean it definitely needs some spring cleaning. The rooms haven’t been updated in a while and could use a fresh coat of paint. Also to have to pay for breakfast was a little much since this is a given at most places now a days.

The property is in a good location to everything but not in the middle of everything. The scenery with the creek right behind the property is beautiful. The staff that checked us in were very friendly and welcoming. They also spoke when we saw them throughout the stay.

There was nothing that we disliked about the lodge and our stay there.

The lodge was located perfectly for the places we came to see and do and was easy to get and out of. The creek along the back was beautiful and we loved to set and walk there. The room was clean when we arrived and stayed cleaned throughout the week we were there. The room furnishings were rustic and fun. Even though this is an older facility, we totally enjoyed our visit and would consider going there again in the future. The price was affordable.

There were some issues with the toilet in the room. It didn't feel like it was bolted to the floor properly. There was also one towel that looked like it had been used previously, so we changed it out and used another towel. Otherwise it was an amazing stay.

The property is amazing as always and the staff is always great. It is a good price for a hotel and near enough to downtown Gatlinburg that we can walk to it.
