Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The upkeep of the room was very good. Everything seemed like new. Although the showerhead wasn't moveable, the pressure was excellent and the temperature stayed perfectly constant.

This is a budget, practical hotel very well located. Manager is quite attentive and supportive of customer's need. She gave us quite a summary of the eating options around. We visited this hotel during the winter so most of the attractions around were dormant. This might be a great place to stay during the summer. The room was tight but confortable, clean. While on the basic side, our place had everything we need for a good rest. We much appreciated the manager gave us the chance to charge out Tesla with her level 2 charger. However, it's recommended to talk with her since the charger is located just right hotel offices and there's only one spot available for that.

Other guests were noisy, so I kept the air conditioner on to block some of the noise. Exiting the parking lot is somewhat difficult because it's on top of a hill. You can't hardly see traffic to your left so extra care has to be taken.
Easy access to roads and restaurants. The woman running the motel was really friendly and helpful. She brought me ice which was a nice touch!

There were beautiful grassy areas and no where to sit...I am sure they will get there it all takes time!

The accommodations were perfect for what we were looking to find. We did not need a lot of amenities as we were in the area to hike and experience nature. This hotel was perfect for that purpose. Would have liked there to be a workout room or pool, but not sure we would have used them anyway.
Owner was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. She truly cared about making our stay enjoyable and hassle free. Because being dog friendly was important to us, we were very happy that the grounds and rooms were set up to support our two pets.

The ac unit was very loud and startling as it would come on and it would wake us up. Couldn’t sleep well because of it.
The owners were amazing! Very warm welcome and enjoyed getting to know them a little. Clean room. Plenty of towels, and very comfortable pillows and bed.

Actually we liked it all.
We took our old almost blind dog with us on a two day "quality time with our dog" trip. She loves to ride in car and is quiet and well behaved. This motel let her stay with us and we had fun just being with her. We sat outside our room (in chairs we brought with us) and also took her to an outdoor (dogs allowed) cafe nearby. We drove her around in the car checking out Hocking Hills. There was plenty of grassy areas for us to walk her to potty. The owners and staff we met were so very friendly! We felt very good staying here. It was a nice, clean, nothing fancy but just what we were looking for motel.

A/C unit had loud vibration when it would turn on, so had trouble sleeping first night. Finally turned it off.

There were only 3 big towels when 4 people were in room. We were put on the end so we heard people traveling up and down the stairs.
We were pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. We needed to stay here because our dog was traveling with us. Room was clean.

I was on the bottom floor. The people above me were very heavy walkers and were up most of the night. I did not sleep very well due to that. My daughter had a similar experience in her room also.
The staff was very welcoming and offered suggestions about restaurants in the area. I left something valuable to me at the hotel. The staff made sure it was returned to me.
