It was having building work done in the reception and for some reason I thought the transaction for the rooms had gone through using my card loaded in US dollars and the hotel never mentioned it hadn't so a week later when we were back in the UK they took it in UK currency which I was very annoyed at because I purposely wanted to pay in dollars so please watch out for this because they let us stay and didn't say anything They also photocopied some receipt s I needed and yet again did not say they were going to charge me but once again back home they did 😠

They were remodeling the hotel and access was a bit annoying, in the morning there were people working in the gym area (where one had to go through to go out to the reception) and they raised dust and it was not very pleasant to go through that environment.

The room was very good, very spacious, nice view. Very comfortable bed, spacious and clean bathroom. We were able to rest, which was our goal.

Did not know it was getting renovated . I booked because of the bar and it wasn’t one anymore. Also an employee hit my car while it was parked and tried to move her vehicle but my friend seen her and made her wait until I came down. Other than that trip was great.

I loved the location not too far from south beach and close to a lot of fast food restaurant . Pool over looks the lake great view. Front desk staff was very friendly and informative.

They are doing some remodeling downstairs so a bit messy, but okay. The rooms could use remodeling as they were musty. The morning breakfast was NOT free and at $24.95 per person is way over priced.

The hotel is very convenient to access being only 12 minutes from the airport. It appears to be popular with cruisers. The morning shuttle (not free, but reasonable) to the port was very quick for a weekend day!

The hotel was under construction at the time of our visit, and there was consistent noise throughout the day while in our room. The prices at the restaurant in the hotel are much higher than going out to eat, which made it inconvenient in the mornings, especially for breakfast. The elevators had broken flooring, and one made loud noises and jerked when stopping at floors. There was also a break-in of a vehicle in the parking lot, and one of my family members alerted staff as the vehicle was parked next to ours, but thankfully, ours was not vandalized. We later returned after eating, and the owners of the affected vehicle came out to find their window broken and were not informed by hotel staff. Which is unfortunate as they had been notified hours earlier. We chose to park closer to the hotel even though the parking lot is small and parking is limited.

There was a sticky residue on the door and headboard in the bedroom that we told the front desk about on multiple occasions but nothing was done about it. I seriously considered ending our stay at this hotel early and swapping to a higher grade of hotel.

When I call to book my room, I ask if someone speak Spanish, but the woman on the phone said that nobody speak Spanish. I couldn't believe her!!! I preferred book it in booking.com We found a cockroach on the wall... my husband had to kill it. In the corridor that led to our room there were towels thrown, it looked bad looking

The bed was too hard. The wifi was down. The shuttle driver couldn't speak any English. No free breakfast food was too expensive. Overrated. Shuttle only goes 3 miles out. The daytime man Representative wasn't very friendly. The daytime lady was amazing. Probably wouldn't stay again.

There was NO COFFEE in the room even though the website said there was. Only offered decaffeinated in the room. They just said sorry. They also advertise a laundry but they have no change so you can use it.

It had a shuttle to the airport. We arrived early and they stored our luggage and let us hang around until time to check in.

Room rate increased by $40+ momentarily after my first attempt to book was rejected by Booking.com. I tried to resolve and spent a good hour on the phone with Booking.com but had no luck. We waited until after 4:30 to finally check in to our room.

Room was spacious. Shuttle drivers were great and more than hospitable. Front desk allowed us to keep luggage in their backroom area which was helpful.

There was a lot of hair on carpet and behind furniture . Alex the person at the front desk was very short and rude not helpful at all and he behave like that on front of his supervisor and she didn’t bother to look up even when I was trying to ask her a question. The dryer was out of service,I tried to get quarters for laundry and he said that “ they didn’t have any change to go to the hotel next door for change “… complete disappointment since I always had pleasant experience from my stays at others Cambria hotels.
