It's near a rough part of town. The rooms could use some renovation.

Friendly and helpful staff. Facilities were clean, albeit a bit dated. The location was good for where we needed to be the next day, but that area of Wichita is a bit rough. I could tell Sonesta did what they could to mitigate this issue, and I didn't feel unsafe during my stay. Overall, it is an impeccable value for what you get.

Some of the furniture was worn pretty bad....but still clean and ok The location seemed a bit industrial and a little un-safe...our friends felt that more than we did...I'm used to staying near airports and the area wasn't that bad to me. Some of the clientel didn't help, but can't do much about that. Police cars in the parking lot late at night indicates it is at least being watched.

Because I was moved I had someone trying to enter my room in early hours approximately 4:30 AM.

The room I initially received smelled like Cigarette Smoke, I reported it to the front desk and they happily moved me.

Our room was no more than 15 ft from the check in desk. Around 6-7 the morning after we checked in a person who appeared to be a cleaning staff member and another man (possibly another guest) were having a very loud conversation about 5 ft from our door. I waited a few minutes before I opened the door and asked them to please keep it low. On Friday night close to midnight the lights and alarm in our room started going off. We thought it was a fire in the building but when I opened the door there weren't any people running out of the building. We were very frightened and could hardly sleep that night wondering if a fire was about to breakout.I asked the young lady the next day and she said someone must have pressed the button on our door and made the alarm go off (it was a handicap room.) On Sunday morning around 4am another loud conversation (between the front desk clerk and a woman) was going on approximately 5-6ft from our front door. It definitely did not allow us to have the peace and quiet we had been looking for. When I booked the room I had asked for a handicap room due to issues I have climbing in and out of the tub, I had asked for the room not to be on first floor. But when we checked in and I noticed the room was that close to check in desk; I asked Andrew to change us to another room even if it wasn't handicap but he said he wasn't able to do it because the computer wouldn't let him and that he would try the next day (but we never saw him or heard from anyone who could make that change. We did not have a pleasant stay. We were more exhausted when we left than when we got there.

Very clean, front desk clerk (Andrew) and another Hispanic young woman were very helpful and friendly.

Our room had some outlets that weren't working, which made charging phones a hassle. The outside door also stopped working, and the rooms were a bit loud. Overall no major issues though.

I didn't like the $40 increase in my daily rate when having to add an additional day to my four day stay. You would think the rate would remain the same or lower when staying longer. I inquired with two IHG representatives and they offered no assistance.

I moved from another hotel suite that was in an area where I felt unsafe. Moving to Staybridge Suites put me at ease. The hotel was clean and well appointed. I felt safe and felt my property was safe. I had everything I needed to use to prepare meals, work and sleep comfortably. The pool was beautiful, and I enjoyed an afternoon poolside. The property was close to beautiful shops/stores where I enjoyed meals and salons before heading out of the state.

Their was a slight smell when walking into the room but I got over it.

This location is easy to get to and in a safe part of town as compared to some of the other hotels I looked at booking It was a quick check in/out process. The staff was super friendly. The room was as expected and I was surprised at how comfy the bed was! I slept great (well as great as you can away from home). It was a quick stay but I was overall pleased!
