Breakfast was a disappointment. We had paid extra to include breakfast and expected it to be relaxing and easy. It was like a zoo. There was a very long line to sit and a long wait to get the food we ordered. Hotel guests stood in the same line as people from outside.

The pillows were a choice between overly soft or rock hard, which killed my neck. The coffee machine in the room didn’t work.

The staff were so wonderful to us, the room was gorgeous and the shower was transcendent.

The only thing we had trouble with was the expresso maker in the room. The cups were too big to fit properly and we had to Google what the flavors were but that was a fun group project for us, lol

I mentioned to staff that we had come to town for a planned induction the following morning and asked for them to do anything that would help make it peaceful and they gave us a card, a stuffed animal, a book and a cookie and checked in with us to see if there was anything else they could do.

Overall we loved our stay, but the sliding bathroom door was a bit cumbersome and didn’t fully close so it wasn’t as…private as it should be lol. We could’ve also used another lamp or two as the room was a bit dark, but entryway and bathroom mirror lights were nice and bright. The only thing that caught us a bit off guard was the $40/day valet (all attendants were prompt and professional!) we just didn’t realize valet was mandatory. We did visit during the winter and drove up during a snowstorm having to use the valet did end up being very convenient. Aside from these minor things we would still give this hotel 5 stars! The property is beautiful and immaculately clean. The hotel staff was amazing, truly everyone was so helpful and kind. I mentioned that it was my partner and i’s anniversary and we were so happy to see macarons, wine cocktails and a lovely card set up in our room when we arrived. The card had 2 women on the front which really was a lovely touch and made us feel incredibly welcome! Our room was quite large and had everything we needed—the beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space to hang clothes, store suitcases etc. we also loved the convenience of having a water/ice machine on our floor and the 2 glass bottles in our room. Valet service was convenient and timely as well.

The room was a little loud.

The 12 pm checkout was great, and having breakfast available until 2 pm is fantastic. Loved being able to walk to all our planned events.
