Best location right across from the beach. Property was meticulously maintained. Staff super friendly. Liked that you could sign out bikes or beach gear. Rooms were well stocked and large. Only downside was the bed. Not the worst but it definitely could be replaced as there are divots where others have slept. The sofa bed however was comfortable for my kids.

Truly, there was nothing at the Capistrano Surfside Inn that we did not like. Not knowing what the Inn would be like other than the Booking.com information had us going in blind and hoping. Our expectations were exceeded.

The location, the staff, the free bike rentals and the free beach chairs were several of the things that made our stay wonderful. The free bikes and beach chairs were unexpected pluses to our plans and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The rooms felt a little more warm than usual. We were given a window air conditioning unit that helped my son in his room. I always travel with a fan and try to have as many windows open as possible. I feel as though the thermostat dropped lower on the air conditioning unit the past few years that we have stayed. This issue can be overlooked. I’ll just plan to bring more fans next time.

I absolutely love this resort. The location is central to both San Clemente and Dana Point. My kids enjoy playing pool. My kids enjoy the outside pool and hot tub. Although we didn’t use it this time, the bikes are always fun to rent.

Walkway to get to the beach isn't for everyone.. can be challenging.

We loved our stay here. Great location, fantastic amenities, best value. Our big family was welcomed warmly here and very comfortable in a two bedroom unit. The view was fantastic, we loved hearing the waves crashing at night. Very family friendly and warm, not snobby or pretentious.

Hard to get to the beach if your compromised.

The rooms were great! Good size felt comfortable not crowded. Oceanview was great but a little hard to get to the beach if you are compromised. Pool was great! Facility had all you needed to make your own food it was great that the dishes were provided. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were great very helpful and friendly

The beds could have been more comfortable. If you're going to have 2 bedrooms it would be good to have real doors seperating them rather than floating. Otherwise we hear everything from one another

Excellent location, 2 bedroom suite was roomy, very clean and comfortable. There are lots of things to do and see in the area. The Nixon President library is only 35 miles away and is well worth the drive.

The kitchen layout was a little awkward with frig blocking some cabinets. Double tub awkward to get in and out of.

Very accommodating staff, good location near San Juan Capistrano, Dana Pt and San Clemente. Easy access to beach. clean, comfortable with nice amenities. While it was cool for swimming in the pool or the ocean, we enjoyed the available bikes to ride to Dana Pt Marina. Kitchen equipped and adequate for meal prep. We would stay there again when in the area.

Had no negative experiences! Know going in that it is on the busy PCH, and you cross over safely to the beach on the pedestrian “bridge”.

Great communication and service from hotel staff! In such a great location to the beach and Dana Point. With my friend, we had the spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with full kitchen and living area and balcony! Comfy beds and pillows and so much room!
