I needed to know to leave a window cracked open a little bit so that the fireplace would go really good. I figured it out on my own but a quick mention of it would have been good.

Room very comfortable and well appointed. Linens and towels all clean and tidy. nice happy hour with wine and cheese. Tv was good and shower was nice. Little eating area out front is a nice touch

I chose Carmel Garden Inn because it was so highly rated by others, its price point was fantastic, and it was walking distance to the beach. In addition to the very friendly staff, in particular Jen, I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast they offered. Most places have run of the mill items but they made 2 types of frittata fresh daily along with a homemade bread, and their coffee was from a local company and was excellent. They also had a daily wine and cheese hour offering a nice red and white wine! I plan to go back and stay here again.

We have stayed with you in the past. So I reserved 2 rooms for my daughter's family with 4 children when they were visiting California. They loved it and the teen girl said it was adorable and like sleeping in a fairytale😊

The only thing that could be improved was there was no kindling or small logs to get the fire going in the fireplace.

Absolutely adorable room with private patio, fireplace, and small kitchenette. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Homemade zucchini bread.

Cute, older inn with lots of charm. Great location. The inside of our unit is a bit dated but clean. It had a nice little private patio and a fireplace. The inn provides breakfast, which was substantial and tasty. The staff was very friendly

Such a cute and cozy property! In a great location walkable to the ocean and downtown Carmel. The staff is great! Jen was amazing each day giving us tips on things to do and asking us about our trip. She had the best dinner recommendations! Do anything she recommends! Our room had a fireplace which we could light by ourselves. It was so cozy.

Our room had a slightly odd odor. The other room for our party was fine.

The Inn is an older quaint B&B that offers decent value for the money. If you arrive between 3-5 pm, a complimentary glass of wine awaits you. The room was on the small side; the bed and pillow were quite comfortable. The rooms we stayed in (a party of four) both opened out on to the sidewalk. Ample off street parking is available. The breakfast was very nice--a step above the typical hotel breakfast.

We have come here when our child was 3 months, 7 months, 1 year and now 1.5 years old-we had to leave after one night (we booked two nights) because our daughter would not sleep in the sleep pod we brought and it would have been nice if there was a crib available. We didn’t have enough room in our car to bring a crib-that’s my only suggestion maybe have a crib to offer guests

I think the garden area could have been cleaned up and fixed up a little nicer. A hot tub would be an added bonus.

Loved the property…no issues!

We loved EVERYTHING about the inn, and the timing was perfect! We had just come off of a weekend in Big Sur in a yurt. Desperately needed a slice of civilization and boy did CGI deliver😊
