Boutique hotel with history and class.

It would be nice if the terrace was open until sunset and the shower was a little small, but these are minor quibbles.

I love the history and architecture of this location. The room design is updated just enough, while retaining a historical boutique feel .

My stay was too short, I'll be back.

The classic feel and vintage amenities, clawfoot tub? Yes, please. Outside elevator is a sweet touch and the attached restaurant is affordable and delicious 😋!

There was nothing I didn't like

This is a beautiful and truly unique vintage hotel! The staff were wonderful—so welcoming and helpful. The on-site restaurant was convenient and delicious, and I loved that the hotel has both air conditioning and an elevator. The décor was stunning throughout, with so many charming details, and the clawfoot tub was such a special touch. A memorable stay!

The bar closed early the night we were there, so we did not get to try it. It looked nice.

The room offered ample space. The beds were comfortable. The uniqueness of the hotel was great. The attached restaurant was amazing. We also enjoyed the roof top space with the tables and umbrellas.

Making an old building modern is an infinite task and great expense, so more always can be done. Come here for authenticity and restoration, not a routine experience that can you have next to any freeway. Everything worked well. You might even enjoy the train horns at night!

A loving use of an historic building near the center of town. Rooms are nicely restored and comfortable with period style. An excellent restaurant for dinner, and cafe for breakfast add convenience. Historical photos adorn the walls and an original mural captures an important event in local history. It is distinctive and tasteful. Kudos to the restorers and owners.

I didn’t realize we were close to train tracks or that there was construction being done, so it was pretty noisy.

I loved the vintage feel of the property and the cleanliness of the room.

WI-FI connections were not strong but was able to use personal hot spot. Not a deal breaker. I plan to stay here again in the future.

This is not a Marriott or chain hotel. This is a charming hotel that is centrally located. It was easy to park and the guest were all quiet. The care takers of the historic hotel (national landmark) do a great job running things. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable with the accommodations. You get nice big robes in your room.

This is a 1920's hotel professionally renovated and spotlessly clean. They have a restaurant that opens at 7am but I wish there was coffee service available earlier.

Sherry went the extra mile for me. I needed to check in early and she met me face to face so she could be sure I got situated.

Lovely vintage hotel in a quaint little town. Walking distance to great shops, antique stores, restaurants and bars. Room was so delightful we really didn’t need to venture out much. Restaurants connected to the property were fantastic! Branch for dinner and Berry Fields for breakfast were great. We live only about 50 miles away but trip was so relaxing and fun we will do it again. The property was absolutely delightful!
