Waitstaff in dining room at breakfast hovered and asked to clear while we were still sitting and eating.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Beautiful, luxurious, clean, and very comfortable. For all of that, pricing was comparable to a Hampton Inn.

The staff was so friendly. It was a beautiful property. We had a great breakfast, and they even had snacks in the pantry plus a washer/dryer.

My only complaint would be the pillows are too firm but that’s more of a personal preference.

The property was beautiful. We hope to come back sometime in nicer weather so we could walk outside more and see its full beauty.

Parking near our room was in short supply though we did still manage to find a space when needed.

Staff went out of their way to help us unload our car and one member even helped carry luggage into our room. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very attentive to the needs of all diners.

Navigating through the center to get back to the parking garage was difficult. The person who checked me in was nice but ran through everything so fast it was hard to take in and that staff member didn’t smile and have the expected Chapel Hill charm. That made the check-in experience good but not exceptional.

I’m a Kenan-Flagler graduate (24 years ago) and did not know the Rizzo Center was a Kenan Flagler conference center so I was delighted to see the Kenan-Flagler logo as soon as I walked in the foyer. Beyond that, I didn’t know what to expect from a university-affiliated hotel. I was happy to see that it was a true 4-star Hyatt experience. I got a reasonable room rate. I will be returning! Breakfast was very good. Far better than any other complimentary breakfast I’ve had a hotel!

There's very little to dislike about a stay at the Rizzo. 4 out of 5 stays this year have been great. Only one stay where we ended up with a room on first floor next to lobby was too noisy. All the other rooms were very quiet and peaceful.

The rooms/beds are very comfortable. Hot breakfast buffet is included in the nightly price and offers grits, oatmeal, vegetarian casserole, turkey and pork sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes and great selection of fresh fruit and good coffee! Sonya, the bartender, in the bar/restaurant on first floor is super friendly, helpful and quite delightful! The Greek salad she recommended is a favorite of ours! Opens at 5:30PM. A guest pantry on each floor offers popcorn, cold drinks, ice cream and coffee as well as washer/dryer. Lovely hotel and grounds. This was our 5th visit this year.

It wasn’t ‘in town’ - if that is what you are seeking, I’d look a little further, but it was worth the few minutes it took us to get to the actual UNC campus.

In a word: gorgeous. The property was leafy, lush and quiet. The views from the balcony were fabulous. The room was large and beautifully appointed. The staff members were friendly and accommodating.

There was ice cream and drinks (juice/sodas/coffee) on each floor, but not much else in terms of food other than breakfast. Lots of nearby restaurants.

We stayed in the main building which is very nice and clean. The property is in a beautiful location with nice trails around. We enjoyed walking around the nice neighborhood. The buffet breakfast was very good. Parking on site was convenient and the pool and gym were nice.
