The bed wasn't all that comfortable. The lock on the upper door was missing. And of course, it seems that with all of the smaller hotels, the parking lot sucked. I ride a fairly heavy motorcycle. Turning it around can be a challenge with gravel and pieces of pavement missing. I believe it's a two star hotel.

There was a restaurant next door. I also got checked in really quickly.

Upon entering, the room smelled STRONGLY of incense. Or something. We were mystified that the room had not been aired out before its next occupants arrived. Please fix this problem.

Large room! Definitely a throwback to years ago, and showing its age. The refrigerator and A/C worked great.

Very large room with microwave and refrigerator. Furnishings were well worn but clean. Great overnight stop.

The AC unit was louder than we would have liked, and the bathroom didn’t have much room between the toilet and tub/shower once the door was closed.

Convenient to our family’s home in Childress and right off the main thoroughfare. Close to everything in town as well. Room was a generous size! Clean, comfortable, and great for the price. Really liked the tub/shower combo as well. Felt almost like home away from home.

Foot traffic in the parking lot and other customers over the weekend nights were a completely different clientele than the week-day visitors we saw (our stay was 4 nights over a weekend). Propositioned by a prostitute... the person staying in the room next to us was passed out in front of their door... and people had dogs tied up outside their rooms. Week nights were fine and other visitors were seemingly normal traveling people.

Location is good, right off the main road and very easy to locate - convenient a gas station is right across the street. Motel is obviously older... for the economical rate don't expect a stay at Hampton Inn. The room is small and well used due to age, but it was clean, plenty of hot water, and the A/C works great. There is a mini-fridge and microwave, but no in-room hair dryer or coffee pot like other places have. Not that big a deal if you are prepared. The King-mattress was pretty hard, but no unbearable,

Ice machine was broken (getting fixed on the 2nd night but too late for my 2 night stay). They provided a plastic bag of ice from the nearby restaurant. Room had no desk for writing. No coffee provided, not even coffee machine in the room. Soap was very small pieces (fortunately I always bring backup soap). Bathroom small but manageable.

Room was good size with two easy chairs. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Good size fridge with freezer compartment and a tv (didn't use). Close to nearby Mexican restaurant.

I would add coffee makers to each room. But the staff quickly made coffee for us upon request!

This is a Mom and Pop operation, and we really liked that about it. The beds were real Queens too, not "hotel queens." We slept well except for the traffic noise, which is pretty much unavoidable. I liked that the rooms have fridges and microwaves, as well as TV with cable.

Loud heater/ac unit thats the only draw back to the property

Staff were very friendly property was quiet room was good. Heater/ac unit was a little loud for me. And the tv wasn't where you could see it from the sitting area the hotel was good for an old hotel and the price was great.

nice folks that run it. the associated restaurant is open again and was very good.

Toilet was leaking and refilling all night. 18 wheeler traffic was a little loud but bearable.

Nice clean room and you get what you pay for. I'll stay again when passing through. For the price it was perfect.
