We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

They also charge a $100 deposit which is returned “in 2-3 days” which is still pending in my account 6 days later. And I could not find any mention of this on the website when booking the room.

CanadaWe spotted a few cockroaches in the room during our 1 night stay. The floor in the room was unclean, we didn't want to walk around on the carpet barefoot.we spotted fruit flies in the room too. There were not enough power sockets on the walls to plug in our chargers. The smoke alarm started making very strange noises too.

The bed was dirty and had cockroaches, apparently, the hotel is also an apartment building or something like that, the staff is not nice, and found a couple of them having a verbal fight against someone in the morning, the guy who helped us check-in was in a mood, just not a pleasant place to stay.
The beds were very comfy, and the person who served us breakfast was VERY sweet and kind, other that that this place should absolutely not be called a Hotel.

United States of AmericaI booked a king size bed. I arived & they gave me a double queen. They said I booked a double queen. I showed them my booking receipt, and they were shocked. After several minutes on what they can do, they finally had a king bed available, thanks for that at least. The hotel is old, dirty and the room wasn't any better. They hotel is full of state homeless people, whitch is not there fault by any means.
I really don't like giving a bad rating, there's not much to like about this place.

United States of AmericaVery dodgy people were walking in and around the hotel at all time. Kids were playing and running in the corridors and nobody was telling them to be quiet. Breakfast was awful. It was a boiled eg, a toast and a cup of bad coffee handed to you like you were in a jail cafeteria. The price was not cheaper than the average in Albany, therefore, for the experience I had, this hotel was way overpriced.
Not much. I am just glad I was not robbed in the corridors of the hotel.
