When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was clean and comfortable, but carpets are a bit worn looking. Takes away from the overall impression.
The location was minutes away from the event we were attending. The front desk clerk (Stephen, I believe) was very helpful with our early arrival.

The floor plan is a little strange.
It is a nice hotel. The room was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very helpful at all times. Ample parking, The hotel is on the NJ bus line that goes to the port authority in NY city. So, that was a big plus. We didn’t have to drive into the city

The halls between the rooms aren't clean

Old, broken furnishings… our room had a desk chair with a broken wheel and a collapsing, unusable luggage rack. Strong smell of pot in the hallway at times.
Great location, beds comfortable, rooms of average size.

We had an issue with the room refrigerator. The staff replaced it as soon as we told them of the problem

The inside of the building was a little run down.
The staff was wonderful. There was an issues with our heat and they changed our room no problem.

The desk Chair could be better, more adjustable. The shower head needs to be easier to adjust

The air conditioning didn't work. The tub didn't drain. The toilet was held onto the wall with tape. The sink faucet dripped.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Our room the first of 2 nights. We booked a double queen and they could not deliver that room night 1. We were asked to accept an upgrade to a suite but the room was less than ideal. The Murphy bed and additional cot were not comfortable and there was loud construction directly above our room starting at 9am.
Staff did their best to communicate and solve our issues.

AC is inoperatable. It was still on summer mode and cooling in 18th of October, they sent a mechanic and changed the ac to heater, yet it was not enough to cover all the cold in the room which was due to automatic cooler. Visitors can not choose their own room climate, it was unacceptable.
Simple, cozy room. Clean and fulfils basic needs.

Close to the bus stop into Manhattan 45 mins on a bus 166 bus. Room size was good Location lovely- great diner down the road.

Overall, it was a convenient stay but couldn't sleep well because the air conditioner was not turned off. I contacted the staff who let me know how to operate it, but it was hard to find the switch. Other than that, it was good.

The bathroom was a bit small. a real coffee machine (not the one you have in the room) would be nice.
We have been visiting our daughter and our grandkids who live in Tenafly. So the location of the Clinton hotel was perfect for us. The room was quite big and satisfied.

Parking lot is not easy to navigate due to construction. The whole facility needs to be updated.

Worn and dirty carpets. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Some areas are beautiful, and some areas are dingy and need renovating, replacing, or repair. Breakfast? Not available. Coffee? Keurig at a $3 charge. Bagged items at various prices.
