The price was a little high for this weekend which was surprised with but not horrible.

This is the second time staying here and I really like it just for the location the breakfast the parking etc..

We tried using the exercise equipment, but it didn't work very well.

The breakfast was great. It was wonderful to have eggs and meats, along with all the usual cereals, waffles, breads, yogurt and drinks.

The breakfast was OK.

The bed was comfortable. Room was clean and contained everything we needed. The hotel was easy to find and a good location to the beach.

The bathroom was the only issue it was so small and claustrophobic feeling but was very clean.

Location was fabulous we had a peek a boo view of coast line, Staff we attentive and accommodating, checkin was a breeze, it was a nice stay to unwind.

When we checked in, we were greeted by Chris who was very friendly and even offered us fresh baked cookies while we waited... during the stay he was helpful in many ways. Rooms were large and clean, beds very comfortable, easy parking and large spaces (less door dings) ocean was across the street. Close to Nye beach community, a few blocks to Hwy 101 Coast Hwy so it was easy and quick to get to the restaurants and Historic Downtown Newport. Breakfast selection was very good and tasty hot and ready for everybody at 6:30 AM so you can get your day started early. We will definitely stay here again. Good Job Comfort Inn Newport. (PS: Be sure to visit LOCAL SCOOP ice cream shop on Hwy 101, Tillamook and Umpqua ice cream served with a very large selection, they even have Black Licorice ice cream)

I want to point out these were just our experiences this one stay. Upon arrival to check in, there wasn't anyone near the desk, and the couple times we entered through the lobby, there was almost never any staff that we could see around. This wasn't really a big deal, but not visually seeing any staff on multiple occasions made us wonder where they were if not at the front desk. The girl who was tending to the breakfast room would go about her business and almost never engage with the guests. While she was waiting to check if the coffee needed to be refilled, I had the sense I was in her way.

The room was clean, and the warm cookies when we checked in were a nice touch. The location was also nice. Beach was a short walk away, and we were surrounded by many food and coffee options. Don and Ann Park just down the road was the best place to see the sunset, and during our stay, we did see some very photogenic whales. Towels were clean, and the room was large and spacious. Having a hot breakfast was also nice. Yogurt, cereal, waffles, eggs, and sausage were on the menu each morning, but they also had hot coffee ready to go. There is an ice cream shop nearby that had the best selection and the best milkshake I've had in a long time. Georgies is THE place to have dinner!

Elevator stropped working during the night. Thankfully after I took my bags up, and it was working by the time I had to checkout. It would have been helpful to have a printed directory of all the TV channels as there are a lot and the guide function on the TV did not work.

Very clean and up to date interior in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast room was clean and provided appealing options for breakfast, 24-hour desk and free parking. Staff are helpful and friendly.
