No chair to sit on. Some sort of small table/desk might have helped, too, with holding my laptop and doing some work.

Ed, the owner/manager, was delightful, helpful, charming. He couldn't have been more polite. I told him the bed and the warmth of the boiler/furnace were both very comfortable. I slept well. I did suggest that each room come with one chair to sit on - there was none in my room, so I had to sit on the end of the bed. But the rooms are small, and I realize one can fit only so many creature comforts in a small space.

The lighting in the room was a little dim. There was a strong smell of disinfectant cleaner when I entered the room, which with seasonal allergies was a bit strong; however, I had no doubt that the room had been cleaned!

I loved the old-school charm of the Community Court Motel. The tilework in the bathroom is original, and I hope that with planned remodeling they will keep the tilework and other original elements that have the charm and style of a different time. I also liked the international flags in the courtyard/parking area, and that the beautiful park was adjacent to the facility.

The location is terrific as is the staff. The motel is ancient but clean. Prices are ridiculous while horses are running but so are prices elsewhere—if available.

This place was FILTHYYYYY! The cost alone made me cringe at how much I paid to stay in a motel with dirty towels on the bathroom floor when I got there. The room floor has never been mopped. Cigarette stains on the comforter. Soap scum in all the soap holders. I can keep going… One of the “clean” towels had a blood stain on it — pretty sure that’s a health code violation. I was told I’d be called to discuss these issues and radio silence,

There is a male There that will be upset and tell you his place isn't pet friendly when it says pet friendly. Then pointed his finger at us and said no no we don't. In all he had no choice its an service animal. Thing is this guy is never there just the females and they are very kind

the room needed work to bring it up to an acceptable standard for a motel room charging $200.00 a night. the floor boards were missing spaces of wood. the bathroom shower had black grout that was disgusting. The bathroom did not have an electrical outlet in it. Actually there was one outlet underneath the desk and then we had to move an end table to use another outlet to charge our phones. there was a desk but no chair to sit in. the lady at the front desk told us there would be coffee available 24/7 but at 8:00 in the morning the office was locked and no coffee was made. we like our morning coffee. This property needs updating badly. The only thing going for it is the location.

The property was in a great location. It was walkable to shops and restaurants. Congreve park was behind the motel with ponds and ducks and benches to sit and relax. the racetrack was close by

The windows were broken and then painted shut. Bathrooms had black mold covered in caulk. We didn't even pull back the sheets to sleep and checked out a night early. There were burn marks on the floor, door to bathroom didn't close and the door to room didn't lock.

I booked a 7-8pm check in, but the guy at the desk informed us that he cancelled the booking when we weren't there by 6pm,😲👌 Also, I booked it as " pay at arrival" and again, the guy at the front desk informed us that he tried running my card at 6pm, when the instructions on the booking confirmation said we wouldn't arrive until 7....all in all I feel pretty lucky that it didn't work out for us to stay here!!

Mainly - the actual quality, or lack there of, of the bed itself. I’m not picky generally, but was how much I noticed the low quality of the mattress, springs/lumps, the cheap bedding materials and thin pillows. Also, the sound seemed to travel through everything transparently, that I felt aware of even having the tv on. Could hear neighbors phone alarm go off in am (not loud really) perfectly.

I love the location, ease of a access. The simplicity is just what I wanted.
