How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The water was cold. As a hotel clerk myself I don't complain arbitrarily either Also I paid $267 and they charged my $100 more because I think they claimed they only had kings left although it was guaranteed by booking.com I had to flag chase down the shuttle driver from the airport on foot with luggage 🧳 by jumping in front of the door area.

The hotel is the closest to the airport with a free shuttle that runs regularly. The check in was fast and my room was quiet despite it’s proximity to the airport…and very clean. Just there for an overnight to get an early plane. Shuttle got me there on time despite a lot of LAX traffic. All I wanted.

I was in transit flights with a 16 hour wait but not an over night stay. I was told the room was US$99.00 but much more was deducted from my Visa Card. AUS$355.00 I also paid additional for buffet breakfast which was AUS$74.00 all of which is excessive. I was disappointed in the room fee particularly, as all I had was one capsule of coffee. Property clean and met our expectations for an airport hotel. Shuttle runs 24 hours which is great. Food and drinks at the restaurant tasty and good value.

My room service dinner arrived in a bag, cold. Like, not even room temperature, but cold. Bummer. I was tired and hungry and was really disappointed. Especially because everything else was great.
Bed comfortable Good breakfast downstairs. Nice front desk staff.

Water bottles in the room and tea variety bags, kettle would be great.
We picked up this hotel for its location, free shuttle bus and buffet breakfast. Both were great.

Upon arrive at 12:45am to the hotel there was only one staff member working the desk and all airline pilots take priority over other guests for check in. We were staying at the property for less than 6 hours and wanted some much needed rest, there needs to be a better way to expedite the check in process or staff front desk properly. Rooms were fine, definitely ware and tare on the rooms was noticable.
Proximity to the airport was nice and there was no noise issues.

Conveniently located. The shuttle ran every 15 minutes on a 24 hour schedule. Food in the cafe was fast and good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

check out and receipts Notice that no one helps you with your bags upon checking out and where to get a luggage rack to do it yourself Van driver to the airport was grumbling the whole time - same fellow I had to the hotel the night before
Checkout was really slow. No one answered the phone when I called downstairs prior to check out - I wanted help with bags Checkout was so slow, they didn't print a receipt for my bill - took over 10 minutes - so I just left

The staff at the breakfast were not really nice and when we wanted to switch tables because the previous table was too close to the front door and was too cold they made us feel like it was a huge inconvenience.
The location and the shuttle to the airport is very convenient. The room was quite big.

- they said I could order food until 1:30am and when I went down (jet lagged and hungry) at 12:30am I was told they did not serve food at that time - the shower head was not great or as strong as I would have liked - the lighting in the bathroom was not great - GF food options limited
- nice gym on penthouse level - free shuttle to and from airport - restaurant and bar on site - comfy beds - nice big rooms with decent lighting - pretty clean - the restaurant staff were kind at dinner
