Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The beds are not comfortable and feel they have worn out. Also, the Destination Fee is confusing and frankly annoying.

We've booked with you before and gotten a larger room. The bathroom was very small We had to ask for extra towels and bath tissue. My husband fell going through the revolving door.

Waiting time for the elevator was a bit frustrating, especially when i had booked an uber and had to pay extra surcharge for the wait.

The one thing that I didn't like was that parking was an additional charge. Valet was really expensive but you could park yourself and only pay $44 per night. Valet was double that. The garage is attached to the hotel.
The location is great. It is attached to 2 malls and has a Starbucks on the second floor. Views from the 37th floor were beautiful especially at night.

- pretty noise when close to elevators We first got a room, where we were close to an elevator machine room which made as sleep only with earplugs. After our complaint we got a new better room with an even better view.

Long wait for elevators. Very crowded elevators. Noisy hallways at night Destination fee requiring you to eat at the Yard house which has only average food.

The pillows were a bit flat but it was ok with two on top of each other. The pool was pretty cold it would’ve been nice if it was heated but if you stay in it your body will get used to it. The water pressure wasn’t bad at all but it wasn’t very strong at all either

Cell service was terrible forcing you to pay for hotel wi-fi I did not like the additional $25 I was charged for each room, forcing me to use a credit at a hotel restaurant. Resort fee is lame too.

This property was clean, well maintained and very well situated. Newbury Street and Copley Place, just to name a few, were within walking distance. For longer commutes, taxis were readily and easily available.

There is a destination fee per day of $25 included in the final price, and they mentioned that you can use it as a credit. But, it's confusing what and where to use it. Even the internet- AS IS NOT FREE- they suggest to use this credit. I suggest to eliminate this fee or make it part of the total cost, but don't do it this way, this is not how a 4-5 stars hotels works. The INTERNET IS NOT FREE, You have to pay. Nowadays, it was a surprise. The room was very clean, nevertheless, I moved the trash from the bathroom to other place, and it was hair on the floor, apparently some of the things are just cleaned only on the surface. The set of the bathroom was basic, no shower cap or other related. The TV was not working, they fixed when we were there. You can't open your windows. The bottle of water inside the room was $5 EACH O.O
The beds are comfy, the view is great as well (better if the window were clean from outside), fast check in. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. The place is clean with details. The best was the location, its close to the "must seen". I will recommend your stay here if you are for a few days and the most part of the days out of the hotel.
