Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Canadaa selection of pillows would be better ie. some smaller ones - i had a sore neck by the end; the shower was not clean; the patio cushions were old so not comfortable
the size of the room; the bed was comfy; the nearby restaurants; enjoyed the ferry rides across to ball game and Little Italy; the location was great; would like to know more about the cottages - is there a pool for adults?

United States of AmericaParking is expensive. Food is expensive. The spa pricing is beyond stupid. Service is not great. Hit and miss. Rooms clean but don’t smell great. This is a 500 per night place with fees so I expect more. It would be better to stay at the courtyard or Spring Hill units for under 200. Only stay here if you want to stay on the island. The del Coronado is more and very old so this is the best place to stay on the island but it really is a lot for what you get. Avoid the holiday meals the offer for 85 per person and go off the menu for 30. Much better their buffets for the holidays are very poor quality. I travel the world. I know
It is a great place to stay on the island. The restaurant is open early and through out the day. It is somewhat expensive for the quality and limited selection. We stay here other as my daughter lives in SD and we plan to retire here in a few years. So I have been coming here when the kids where very little so about 20 years. The remodel helped the property several years ago. Locations is good free chairs to use for the beach which is 1.8 miles away. Easy walk. Great places to eat on Orange Ave as you walk tor the beach. Pool is nice and so is hot tub. Gym is small but works well and is free. 2 minute walk to ferry landing with store shops and food. 2 decent places to eat as a sit down. Italian and seafood. 3 blocks from supermarket for treats.

United States of AmericaAt 500$ per night you do not expect to have to pay for Wi-Fi. 15$ per day at that. This seems petty and unacceptable. A 50$ per night motel gives you free Wi-Fi, how does this resort think that is a good idea!? Also, the room smelled like mildew to the point that we considered switching rooms. I understand it is on the water and that can happen but at the cost of the room you think they could afford to update the carpets (or get rid of them) to eliminate the smell. The thing is you get used to it after a day or two so maybe the staff has gotten used to it and fail to smell it anymore. But it is there and shouldn’t be for a resort of this caliber.
Location is perfect. Views of the city at night are spectacular. Great pool. Comfortable beds. Big tub.

United States of AmericaThe shower door was very tough to open and close. But other than that, the room was great! The restaurant was very pricey! We ordered two drinks, some Brussel sprouts and some bread and the bill was $73.00!
The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathroom was clean and updated. The pool area was nice and the food and drinks were great! Friendly staff as well!

United States of AmericaIt took 4 phone calls to get my bill emailed to me. The bikes have to be returned by 5/6pm and the sun sets at 8pm. There are lots of kids in the main pool area, so we never had a chance to get in the hot tub there—filled with kids hopping in and out.
It’s right on the water, and a 10-min walk to the ferry, restaurant, shops. There were 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, and the gym was very well equipped. There were free bikes and the staff was very accommodating.

United States of AmericaWe ordered food to the pool that never arrived, at the restaurant we ordered apps and drinks and our drinks didn’t arrive until after we’d finished eating! They said it was because of short staffed bartenders but it was ridiculous the amount of time we had to wait (especially given two of the 4 drinks we’re draft beer!). They were also out of a lot of their drafts… they just did not seem prepared at all for a holiday weekend and for the price you pay, you expect more :(
The resort is beautiful and in a great location. The staff is nice, but literally everything took forever because they were so understaffed on a holiday weekend

United States of AmericaEvery thing went well for the most part, there was a little confusion around my room and it took a couple of day's and me having to continue to follow up, they said they would reach out to me but they didn't so I had to go to the front desk three times to make sure all was okay. Overall things worked out.
Our room was amazing loved the view. the grounds were superb, the pool and pool side bar was excellent, the service in the restaurant was excellent as was the food.
