To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Northern Mariana IslandsI didn't like how they did not have housekeeping clean the rooms every day. They have a "five-day" policy in place that limits how often your room is refreshed. If a customer is paying full price for each day they stay in the room, they should receive full services each day just like on the first day, which includes a full cleaning.
I liked the cleanliness, spaciousness, and overall appealing design of the room. I especially liked their guest laundry service, as that was such a treasure to have in any hotel, especially when traveling. I liked the secured lobby and elevator entry as it made me feel safe.

The staff at front desk were brilliant and welcoming. Good beds, good restaurant and gym facilities along with good laundry facilities. Not right downtown however trolley close by and they offer a shuttle from the hotel.

United States of AmericaI nearly slipped in the shower, despite all of the bars to help me stand up. Also the tub is very narrow so someone who needed a shower chair would not be able to use the facilities in this room, that was marketed as accessible. The threshold from the entryway into the bedroom part of the suite was almost too narrow for a wheelchair. These are somewhat minor complaints but I feel that if these issues are rectified, not only would you be more ADA compliant, I would be able to recommend other disabled people to stay here. But right now if they are more disabled than I am, I would not recommend it.
It was almost everything I needed it to be, and anything that I felt was missing was easily obtained by request through calling the front desk.

We love the pool and hot tub! Location was perfect and the staff was very lovely. I think the only thing was they quit serving coffee at 6am . A hotel like this I would normally expect coffee at least till 10 at the earliest on a weekend. But they nicely gave me a cup from the restaurant.

From Randy at the front desk to the shuttle driver to restaurant staff to housekeeping everyone was welcoming and eager to help. I loved the fact that there is a maxi stop across the street and a terminal several blocks away. The bed was very comfortable and the room pleasant.
