Overpowering smell of detol and window didnt open to try to get rid of the smell. Room very old, foyer entrance was lovely, but rest is old and needs updating. Bed very very soft and you roll into the middle!

The A/C constantly blew dead leaves out on the bed and ground. The bed sheets weren’t changed and had stains on them even after the housekeeping cleaned it. The bed was also superrrrr soft and you sink in it.

The staff were very helpful and super nice and the location of the place was also great.

The facilities weren't in the best conditions but they were clean and ok to stay in for a few days. Room was quite dark with small windows facing walls. Wasn't too bothered by these things since the location is really good and the price was reasonable for NY standards I guess.

It's very old. The room was extremely tiny. Bed was very old and not very comfy. Bathroom appliances were also very old. The whole place has an old appearence, like it's in the 80's.

Location is great. Many nice restaurants around the hotel. Easy access via metro.

The staff at the reception was very rude! I couldn't bring my friends to visit me. This was unacceptable! Allowing visitors was impossible!

The bed in 311 was back breaking. I understand they wear over time, so we let the desk clerk know when we checked out. We also asked about the disinfectant being use. There is no doubt about the cleanliness in the hotel, but the smell from cleaner was so overwhelming I could taste it. Having said both these things...we will absolutely be back. It's a cute little hotel, with lovely staff and perfectly located.

Bed was pretty soft - but all the amenities were good. Would have liked a coffee maker, but hey, this is NY and it was easy to grab a cup and a bagel around the corner.

Ease of access and location was great. I particularly liked the 24-hour staffed desk which made me feel very safe. Great for travelling alone.

Our room was on the first floor, behind the front desk and next to the entrance door to the elevator. We could hear the door every time guests came in and any conversations they were having as they entered the hallway from the lobby. The mattress was very noisy so any movement woke us up. And when the folks in the room above us walked or dropped something, that too was loud enough to wake us up. If we had an upper level room I’m sure it would have been a better night’s sleep.

Good location, beautiful entrance and lobby, and we got a great price through Booking.com. The hallways and room were clean. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. We were allowed to store our luggage behind the desk both before our room was available and after we checked out.

I’m used to significantly higher end hotels but this was adequate. I really didn’t like the bathroom including the hairdryer.

Is a cheap hotel and that says it all ,but I knew that when we booked it ,we didn't care as we spent most of our time outside but if you are one of the people to stay Indoor that's not the best option !

The water-pressure in the shower isn't very strong.

This is not a luxury hotel but comfortable and in a great location in the Theater district. I found the bed and the pillows to be soft and not bulky or lumpy. The room temp was comfortable for working and sleeping. I found some groceries nearby and used the tiny fridge to store some snacks. There was plenty of hot water for a shower. There is a lovely little Italian restaurant downstairs and food can be ordered up.
