They should had told me at check in I had to request housekeeping. They had signs up, but after travel and a stressful day I did not notice them. The check-in staff should have mentioned the new request only policy.

The Location was perfect. The check in was easy. Parking was free and convenient

Didn’t like simple fact the manager(Gabriel) Knocked on my door trying to kick me and my family out that consists of a five year old stating something about a 21 max stay that we as guests aren’t allowed to go over but we wasn’t informed nor is it posted in the lobby made it s feel very uncomfortable after that then I was harassed by a guests for two straight days asking me for my card and why am standing by my car immediately let front desk know even provided a picture of the vehicle I wasn’t apologized for it and nothing was done about it then walk out to my car being scratched up I’ve seen so many roaches and spiders in my room it’s insane and they sure didn’t come with us I now clean my room I also pointed out to the head housekeeper about trash that’s been in my room since check in…The young lady that works nights is very nice and very professional

Hello, I had a good time in Encinitas. With regard to my stay, the room was acceptable but the door security very much in need of repair. The inside clasp flip lock pulls out of the door jam. Additionally, there is a lot of play in the door when it’s closed. I could see how someone wanting to gain access from the outside could slip a plastic card in toward the lock to dislodge it from the jam. This is an insecure door, rm 126.

The room was falling apart (table end barely hanging on, ductape dresser for a few examples) & wasn't clean ( sticky stuff on table, I wiped off with a wet cloth. Bathroom floor sticky.

The facility is outdated, very basic. The rooms are very thin-walled; I could hear clearly men talking next door till 4 a.m., and at 8 a.m. the people outside of the room leaving the hotel. Luckily, we had a room to the back; in the front is a very busy street. In our bathroom was a dripping water tap, and broken tiles.

The room was clean. The staff friendly. Check-out was at noon, very comfortable.

The bathroom floor is a mess. Poor workmanship. Plywood over ceramic tile with peel and stick vinyl on top. Bad choices and looks and feels terrible.

Found some old food behind the chest of drawers. Also the air conditioner unit and filter was full of dust and such. Maintenance could do a better job making sure these rooms are up to par. leaving wallpaper around the toilet, under the bathroom counter unfinished, rusty fixtures.

Mostly clean room, which was nice. Bed was fresh and clean, floors didn't smell. Bathroom was clean. Property was well lit and felt safe, plenty of parking.

There was no parking. I had to park in the front of the hotel when my room was in the back. Also while checking in at 6pm the front desk didn’t have any rooms readily available even though I had a reservation.

room equipment needs update, faucet are corroded on the finish, AC/ heating unit requires service, heating as unit worked but at one speed and heat was full heat only. toilet is a round bowl with a oblong seat that hands over the bowl! 😂 room 314 wish I had photos to share!

The heating unit did not work upon arrival. It was raining heavily. Was changed to a different room. Heating unit worked reasonably. Bathroom tub was in very poor condition. The worst part of my stay was a phone call to the room by the front desk staff. At 4am early morning asking to verify my name and room number. Also asked me if I had a vacuum in my possession. When I brought this to the attention for front desk staff on check out they showed no interest. Very unfortunate experience.

Definitely in the middle of being renovated, which is understandable. Since it’s still in transition, there was still a very faint smell of smoke in the room, what I believe to be a leak or water damage filling the carpet near the bathroom door, quick fix patches like everywhere. I let a staff member at the front desk know about the leak and her response was “ok”

9 minute walk to Moonlight Beach! Great place to put your stuff and head to the beach for the day if you’re coming in from out of state/town.
