Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Basic accommodations. Near a truck stop, fast food, and interstate. We stayed because it was near my daughter's school one night when heating was being repaired. Breakfast bar had almost nothing. Thankfully they did have a waffle iron. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Bathroom lighting very harsh, the sink would get clogged easily, there was some garbage from the people who stayed before us.

My room key stopped working 3 time during my stay and had to have the front desk reset my key. Staff and I could not determine the reason for this random issue. I wish there was more outside seating.

Housekeeping was rude, loud, early in the morning. Aggravating Knocking on the door before checkout time then calling nonstop on the phone at 11 AM very aggravating. Customers know what time to check out

Housekeeping was extremely loud early,7:30-8am. sla Slamming doors talking loud very early. Also knocked on the door at around 10:50. Came back and knocked again, which was aggravating, We know what time checkout is. Also called on the phone nonstop at 11:00am , totally uncalled for. 5 star hotels give a grace period 5-10 min….
clean, free breakfast, clean. Next to restaurants.

Golf pictures doesn't give the room a very cozy feel Bathrooms need painting,and tile was broken. Never could get hot water from sink. Breakfast could have a better variety. Maybe add some fruit or muffins

Breakfast closes early, especially if one comes in late owing to long flights etc. For most hotels it closes at 10am. So we practically didn't have breakfast

The condition of the bathrooms
Breakfast was OK Location was great Hotel is out dated and in need of major upgrades. Bathroom fixtures are rusted and the tile grout is yellow and peeling

Breakfast was lacking all the basics. No eggs, no bacon, no sausage, no fruit. I ended up eating breakfast at a diner down the road. Very disappointed.

Same. I'm very disappointed
They charged me $30 more than I booked on booking. Lady at desk need not have her job. Stayed an extra night which I booked for 88.90 with booking. She charged me 109 without consent and they refuse to return the difference

It cool I wouldn't stay here again or suggest anyone stay here either they never gave my deposit back, and they charged my card twice. I couldn't get in touch with anyone. I was told only the regional manager could send me back deposit because he's never there. The clerk at the front desk wasn't nice at all. Then, when she called me and gave me the number, I was told to text him, how professional is that? Just give me back the deposit. So, no, this worst experience I would never tell anyone to stay here.
