How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Our room wasn’t to clean. It was booked up and some of the other adults that stayed had kids that was not listening in the pool area and made it so a lot of other kids wanted to leave the pool.

My husband walked around the room in his bare feet. He happened to look at the bottom of his feet when dressing. They were black with dirt from the floor. Not good!
The location was perfect for us to get to an early morning doctor's appointment. We checked in late and left early in the morning. There wasn't time to enjoy the amenities.

Very loud, door's slamming all night. I was not impressed with the breakfast
Location of hershey park, and absolutely loved the hot tub! The coffee was good

More crowded then expected, hot tub was always over filled with people in the evening, per sign 4 was max, finishes were older and lots of people in dining room.

My room was very dim in the bathroom. I also had a picture on the wall above the bed which seemed like it might fall off.
I enjoyed the bagel selection at breakfast. I loved the location of the hotel in downtown Hershey. The room was comfortable and quiet.

the curtains did not close all the way so the sun was shining through in the morning. would have been nice to have gotten late check out since i had to check in after midnight. paid full amount for eleven hours
it was a convenient location. staff was friendly and helpful. had to check in late and staff was there to be helpful. room had all the necessities.

The beds were way too soft
The amenities were great. The wide assortment of breakfast options was wonderful. And i especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The cost was affordable.

The floors in the room were laminate, bathroom vanity was very tiny for sharing. The temperature of the water in the shower would fluctuate while showering, becoming extremely hot at times.
The location was perfect, it was near Hershey Estate Hotel where we enjoyed our spa day and plenty of restaurants nearby, even walking distance. Oh and the outlets are so close, as well.

Night stand on both sides of the bed, there was only one. The tub drain was very slow so you were standing in water while showering

We've stayed at the Wyndham Days Inn Hershey many times. It is our favorite hotel in Hershey. We are always exceptionally pleased with everything EXCEPT this last visit on 12-25-23. Our only complaint -- and it's an important one to us -- is that the overhead lighting at the bathroom sink area is too dim. It is obvious that a renovation is underway but not all things new are improvements. We could barely see ourselves in the mirror or see anything we had placed on the bathroom counter. In fact, we resorted to using a hanging flashlight on the towel bar in order to see well. This is a glaring (pun intended) problem. Either increase the bulb wattage or install an additional light over the mirror or over the towel bar. Thank you!

Not alot of room for family in the double queen room. Sink outside the bathroom only.
Location was best feature. Close to restaurants. Breakfast was okay. Easy check in and out.

The bathroom faucet was leaky and the shower leaked when you bathed kids. Besides that we had no issues at all.
The hotel was decorated very cute for Christmas. Had 2 little girls with me and they enjoyed the pool and the breakfast bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Parking was tight; limited. At one point I wondered if someone parked in lot was a guest. Seemed as if just hanging out in car.
