Due to extensive construction work going on during our stay there was no breakfast facilities so we went in search for somewhere open as we had an early start to head for Breckenridge

The location across the road from the railway station was perfect, it was quiet and the staff were friendly.

I know we’ll all be glad when the lobby renovations are done. And I do love a good fitness center but there’s plenty else to do

The location is perfect since we arrived on the train. The rooms are clean and dark and quiet and the beds are comfortable. All the antique furniture throughout the hotel are beautiful. Finally the staff was terrific and worked with us when we had to change plans due to the train being cancelled

They had some refurbishment works during our stay that was not communicated during the booking process and/or ahead of our arrival. It would have been good to know as the works were taking place in the lobby and some of the corridors making the access to the rooms a bit tricky and the room noisy during working hours.

Proximity to Train Station, Hot Springs and Vapour caves. Best coffee we’ve found in the USA at the coffee shop. Very helpful and obliging staff.

Probably because it's an old building (like, really old), the air ducting is quirky. There was one heating vent in the room so one side of the room was noticeably cooler than the other. Not a huge problem, but the temperature difference was obvious.

Kind of a strange interior room that looks into courtyard that is under construction. Need to replace the tiny short bathroom toilets to the new height standard, why was this overlooked with the remodel?

I didn’t like that they don’t do housekeeping daily for multiple day stays unless you request it. I did request housekeeping and it didn’t happen. When you are staying more than 1 night, it should be given that the room will have housekeeping service. Trash should be removed and clean towels put in at least. Frustrating that it didn’t happen even when I requested it.

Second night the furnace didn’t work properly. But Roger, the manager, put us into the Penthouse Suite and it was beautiful ! We enjoyed it very much. Although, we didn’t utilize the outdoor patio due to the weather. The view was great !

We didn't have a view into our room (it was just into the interior) which is a shame.

The rooms were well laid out, comfortable and spacious. The hotel location is great and the rooms were quiet despite being in the centre of downtown. Nice that the hotel has its own brewery and is walking distance to lots of restaurants, the parks and the springs.

Bathroom was outdated. Walls were super thin. Could hear people in the rooms around me. Lots of noise from the street in the morning. Didn’t seem like any amenities really. There was a coffee shop and a brewery in the same building but I don’t think they were associated with the hotel.

You need room service! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, yet no room service. That will be why I will not stay there again.

I liked the location. You can walk anywhere around town. You do not need a car. Great restaurants and bars close by.

The women at the front desk were consistently short and rude and not very nice at all. We dreaded to talk with them. The AC vent blew onto the head of our bed all night (room 238).
