I didn't know there would be lots of stairs. Confusing on how to get the keys out of the lockbox. One of the beds was too squeaky.

The check-in process was very difficult. After confirming our arrival time with the host, we were left waiting on the sidewalk for over an hour. The host was unreachable - by phone, by email, and by booking.com. We were just about to give up and try to find a new location when - finally - the host provided the check-in instructions. Then it was extremely difficult to find the lockbox. There are two entrances to the property, and the address provided on booking.com is not the same as the address in the check-in instructions. That said, when we eventually were able to enter the apartment, it was quite nice.

Apartment looked exactly like pictures. Beds were comfortable. Was very clean. Lots of amenities in the neighborhood.

Terrible communication with the property manager. There was a lot of back and forth when trying to book an extra night, and I was only told the day before check-in that it wasn't possible. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with insufficient silverware, dinnerware, and mugs for six people. One of the bedroom and bathroom doors was extremely noisy when opened or closed. Toiletries were almost empty upon arrival. Also, be aware that they rent out more than one property, so the pictures may not exactly match the unit you receive.

Parking (Ended up having to park 15 min away)1st time visiting Chicago, didn’t know about parking & car got towed. However, other than that & a few hiccups during check-in my family & I enjoyed our stay.

When we arrived, the key wasn’t in it’s lockbox. We had trouble using the front entrance where the key wasn’t working. The unit needs to be painted. It doesn’t look as fresh and clean as the pictures show. I kept hitting my shin on the bed frame in the master. It is too large for the space. The master sink has trouble shutting off and the tub stopper doesn’t work. As large as the unit is, parking should be made available. There is room in the back but it’s not an option for guests.

The property is spacious and comfortable. It has all of the conveniences of home with a full kitchen and in unit laundry. The location is very nice.

Multiple check in delays and unannounced management around the property that inconvenienced our group. Dirty sheets and bathrooms. No cleaning equipment to clean up after ourselves despite the rules clearly stating to do so. Smell of a dead rat.

Modestly priced for short notice. Clean trek to Logan Square and Downtown in under 20 minutes. Great local community.

I waited over an hour for check in instructions. I called the host 20 times & texted them at least 10 times. It was extremely sketchy. I purposely booked it because it said it was close to my destination, but ended up being 40 minutes instead of 10 minutes away from my destination. The door to get in was broken. The place is not as clean and updated as it says it is. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. And the beds all squeak if you move even a little bit. The place needs to be better taken care of. And needs to have the location updated on the map. The host also needs to send you the check in instructions early in the morning the day of so guests are not waiting or struggling to get in, which is a common issue according to the business owners nearby the place. Also everything echoes in the place and I can hear the neighbors.

I liked the decorations. The amount of bedrooms and bathrooms.

The people who stayed above us partied from 2-7 AM. We had a graduation the next morning and a pregnant women staying in the three cramped bedrooms. Contacted owners several times and they said they could do nothing about it except call property management. They refused to reimburse us for the night from hell.

We could occasionally hear the people upstairs dragging their chair, talking, and stomping through out the late night.

The location was amazing. Easy walking to eatery, entertainment, and especially Dunkin Donuts. :)
