The Host was amazing he made the stay the greatest he was a excellent cook and a great communicator, we loved his stories The place was beautiful and well maintained also close to everything, we would recommend this place if you need a place to stay when your in the area.

The bed was a little soft.

Neat suite on the top floor of the BNB. Balcony looking out between other building to the beach. Older but quaint and charming. Loved our house host!

The stairs were hard on my husband but the staff was right there to help with luggage. And the tv was hung high up on the wall. That’s always uncomfortable for me but I see there really was no other place for it.

We felt like we were home. We chatted with the two other guests and really enjoyed it.

They have adequate space for guests to store food/drink in their own labeled refrigerator bin or shelf. However, the refrigerator needed to be cleaned.

THE REVIEW ASKS WHAT I LIKE FIRST, BUT DOESN'T SHARE IT THAT WAY. ANYWHO..... I'm from Savannah, so being in big houses with Southern charm is definitely home for me. Desoto Beach blends modern with traditional in this classic yet comfortable B&B.They prepared good breakfasts, kept fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen, and served red & white wine and cheese & crackers in the dining room each evening. The Butler Room included a picture window view of Butler Ave. and our 2nd story porch had a hammock on one side and a large table where we opted to eat dinner outside in the beach breeze each night.

The only thing that was uncomfortable in our room was the warmth at night. It got very stuffy in the room at night. There is no ceiling fan so the air circulation was bad at night while trying to sleep.

It was great to have breakfast ready in the morning and not have to try and go anywhere to eat. The food was good, snacks were a nice touch, the covered porch and swing (hammock) was wonderful, and very relaxing, House had alot of character and was kept up fairly well and clean. Good location.

Delightful bed and breakfast on a relaxing beach. Quiet and enjoyable. Lynn and her daughter were so sweet they make your Breakfast and see that you are comfortable. It was a very private place. The other two guests were equally pleasant. It was a great trip.

Wished we had a full ocean view. There is a house in front but you could still see the ocean from the corner.

We enjoyed meeting the other couple that was there. We enjoyed the wine and cheese on the porch. We liked how close we were to the beach. We enjoyed Shelly and her mom - they were so welcoming and helpful in recommending local attractions.

The room was a little warm but it was very hot outside so that’s probably why.

The location is perfect. We walked right out to the beach and it was lovely. We were able to rent chairs and an umbrella from the hotel which was absolutely necessary for me. The staff were SO incredibly nice. They made us feel so welcomed.
