The reception staff could have been a little more effusive when welcoming guests, They weren't impolite but as they are usually the first contact point, first impressions count.

The room itself, It was larger and better furnished than I anticipated. The bed was comfortable and large, S9oft furnishings were five star standard.

Paid for a one bedroom suite with view, the view was the backside of a building and parking lot. I wouldn't really consider the room a suite either, it's just slightly larger than a standard hotel room with a couch and a sink in the living area. If the bedroom was actually separated (with more than sliding basically closet doors) and had its own tv then possibly a suite.

Location is great, walking distance to beach, shopping and so many restaurants.

Property is dated and poorly decorated - didn’t feel like a ‘Hilton’ hotel Male staff member wouldn’t let me check in as my husbands name was on booking. He was parking the car fairly far away. I had his passport and licence as well as the card used for booking. I had made the booking and paid for it, and was accompanied by our 4 children. He wasn’t helpful or pleasant, so we left without checking in. Came back some hours later to complete and got a different staff member who was lovely.

the only negative I have is that the pool was closed. I completely understand that this will happen at times but there was no mention on any websites or when booking that the pool was not accessible and that we would need to go to Hilton Hawaiian Village if we wanted a swim.

The pool was not as expected from the photos as it wasn’t nearly as nice as they made it look. The rooms are a bit outdated looking and should be updated soon. Very disappointed in the quality of this hotel especially when compared to other really nice doubletree locations I’v visited.

Bathroom was a little tight especially If you have little ones to attend to. Not a lot of space for toiletries. Luckily we have a hanging toiletry bag, but we at least like to keep all out the basics.

Location was perfect for us. We didn’t want to be in the center of all the activity, but close enough to walk. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

I booked a room with a bathtub. When I got there, front desk told me that it did not include a bathtub. He told me that they are not liable because I made a booking via a 3rd party which is booking.com I had to shell out additional money just to have the bathtub. Please sort out your $h*t.

Cold showers, lack of lighting, very basics missing. Also only serviced every four days (unless you specify otherwise) and with a family of four ; that is not enough. Have tried make us pay resort fees three times. (Even though already paid for) not worth what we paid for our stay. No pool facilities and under renovation

Rude front desk when checking in, being in the service and hospitality industry your brand should train people with better service attitude. Checking out was fine.

the front desk was hard to reach in the evenings between 8-9:30 pm. The tv in my room had these two lines that went across the tv. I did try to phone down to the front desk yet, it was hard to reach anyone there. I had to stop at the front desk to ask some questions that I could have asked on a phone. I did not use the text option to the property as texting out of country was an extra cost.

the location is good yet, no Bus stops in front of it or on the same street so if you will be taking a bus around which is a good value just be aware the stops are close walking distance 3-5 minutes away.

Pillows in room all the same,none firm like I like. I forgot my phone charger & toothpaste,had to pack in a hurry,and there wasn’t any available in the hotel. Asked where to buy one,had to go searching neighborhood. Got ripped $40 for one at ABC store,recommend vending machine in lobby,or gift shop. Restaurant ambience sucks.

Location near surgery center I had to go to next day. TV in room worked well,nice picture( that is actually rare in hotels!)

no valet, self parking only in small garage, housekeeping closet right next to room was very loud, wallpaper in room was peeling, all drains in room were clogged (toilet, sinks), refrigerator is too tiny to hold anything, pool is small and not heated, hotel seems very outdated, banana peel in parking garage caused someone to fall & the next day the peel was still there even though incident was reported the day prior.
