Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The check in desk was extremely slow with only one staff member. The workers were very pleasant and helpful though.

We were accidentally overcharged and the staff was very good about correcting the mistake.

Everything was great.
The location was perfect as it is across the street from UH Ahuja Med Center. Staff gave me a late checkout as I wasn't sure if my husband would be discharged from the hospital.

printer and computer not working to print boarding pass. Employee never offered to let me use the office computer never stayed at a hotel which did not have a functioning computer and printer. Npo assistance whatsoever with staff

bar drinks were definitely overpriced. $23 for a double vodka is high even at higher level hotels.

The sheets were stained with I’m not sure what! But it was a bit gross!
Mainly the staff, Alexis at the front desk is AMAZING! The breakfast is delicious and different than other spots!!! Also, the shampoo and conditioner is SOO good we were actually upset seeing that they dont sell online!

Pretty expensive for what I got. I paid extra for 'complimentary" breakfast, got only two vouchers for a three-day stay, obtained a third voucher but was charged for breakfast anyway. Sheesh, for $200/night, I should get free breakfast! Also, my room was cleaned twice, when none of it was really necessary. Finally, perhaps the place is understaffed, but it seemed to take longer than necessary to get service.
Convenient to where I was going, easily accessed, room was clean (a little TOO clean, see below) and comfortable.

The beds were nice and big, but for me they were too hard. It hurt sleeping. I requested extra comforters to lay on and they were very helpful with that.
Breakfast was OK but Expensive. The people were great the service was great

Room was not very clean, and could use maintenance (shower vent hasn't been cleaned in a while, peeling paint in bathroom), and some of the main areas look a little dirty (elevator rug). Elevator went in and out of service while we were there. Cannot walk anywhere from this property.
Staff was very friendly. Location was convenient for why we were there. Pretty typical Aloft in terms of decor, etc.

Couldn’t adjust the ac. Room faced the late day sun and it was really warm. A way to play music through the tv would have been nice

Decent breakfast choices-- a bit annoying that it is a cost, but at least you keep it low. The door to the bathroom did not stay closed-- perhaps the floor is uneven so it kept rolling shut.
Cheery space, friendly staff. Easy to access location, good noise insulation-- there were some large groups in common spaces and noisy rooms we walked by but things were quiet when we got to our room.

Loud guests in the hallways with barking dogs late at night. The sliding door for the bathroom/shower area slammed loudly when it closed.
The room was stylish and well-designed. I appreciated that the shades on the windows made the room really dark for sleeping.

The shower in the room was a nice size, but it did not have anywhere for me to put my soap dish on. So, I had to put my soap dish on the floor of the shower while I was in it. This is the first time I experienced a shower not having a little shelf to put my soap dish or my own body wash on. I stayed in a king suite. The living space was a little too dark for me. I would suggest adding a floor lamp to provide more lighting. The last thing I was not a fan of the breakfast setup. Maybe just one of those things I'm used to a buffet like style will you get more bang for your buck.
The staff was friendly. My room was clean, and the living space in the king suite was a little small. The bed was big and comfortable. My favorite part of the hotel was the bar.
