I thought there was free breakfast when i booked the hotel but not. $40/day of valet parking is outrageous in my opinion. We asked the housekeeper to come back after we left the room but didn’t.

Near the beach and Marina. Also not too far from the church we were visiting. The valet parking guy was great.

The extra charge for parking $35 (valet or self park, both the same). The parking garage was scary coming in by myself at night.

Run down, but you know that. Needs a lot of work, beer understanding it’s going to get a full remodel starting soon.

Needs to be renovated. Pool needs resurfacing, chipping and old Interiors need upgrading. Bathtub needed resurfacing, as it was worn and dirty looking. Wi-Fi speed terrible

Stuffy and no air conditioning in elevators and corridors. The furniture in the lobby and our room needed to be cleaned. outdoor cushons were stained and needed cleaning also.. Also it looked like the corridor carpet had been cleaned recently and was not laying flat but had ripples in it....a tripping hazard for seniors like me.

Breakfast was great, good food and good service. The staff was lovely...very accommodating and professional. A special shoutout to Joshua, bellman /valet. He was exceptionally kind and went the extra mile to provide excellent service.

Did not like when arrived was told ocean view would be an upgrade of $20 p nite. On Booking.Com stated ocean view room. Few days later noticed additional charges $50 p nite for ocean view? Called and had charged reduced to $20. Also try to charged for bottle waters not opened. Recovered that also.

Carpeting in hallways had pet odor. Needs shampooing! A woman in the elevator had a dog and cat with her. I love animals, but that's a lot of cleaning to keep up with.

Room was quite adequate! wishing the beds were queens instead of doubles, but other than that, the room had a nice layout and was very clean. We had a view of the ocean with a balcony. So nice! The staff was so nice and so helpful. Breakfast bar was pricy at $25, and regular menu limited, so we skipped it and took a walk down the PCH and found a spot. Rented bikes and rode to San Clemente. we didn’t get the ocean view I think I had booked. little bummed we had a room in the back of the building, so had a view of the highway. not the romantics getaway view I was hoping for

I understand it's going to be renovated this summer it needs it badly The air conditioning units were very noisy and didn't work well The air conditioning sensor on the sliding glass glass door was broken and it was hard to get the air conditioner to even work The faucet in the bathroom was loose and moving around. The sliding door for the bathroom was a wreck The stop for the door was too far out and it would go too far one way. The glass on the door is a silly idea because during the middle of the night it lets light in to the room and wakes your partner . just a few of the problems I encountered

Thin walls and hard beds. I did not like paying to park. Facility does not have a jacuzzi.

This was a great location as it is across the street from a wonderful beach. close to the harbor and downtown.

The hotel is next to Pacific Coast Highway. So much noise all night - made it hard to sleep. The bathtub was stained and dirty looking.

I asked and paid extra money for ocean view unfortunately our family whose first timer to visit Dana point expecting a magnificent sunrise/sunset from our balcony been devastated didn’t get us great view. We’re assigned to 2nd floor left corner of the building unfortunately again near the valet that we always hear honk from the cars and loud voices from the people coming in and out the Inn.

I had a lot of extra charges on my bill that they hadn’t caught. The pet fee was supposed to be a one time charge but they charged me extra every night. They also charge exorbitant fees for parking.
