Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe arrived around 8:30 pm looking forward to a beer and burger at what used to be a good watering hole in the hotel. It was closed, and we were very disappointed to have to walk along the highway to the Hilton to get something to eat.
We like the Renaissance, but they closed the bar and restaurant.

United StatesIt shouldn’t cost for WiFi that’s ridiculous and guest that spend their money there should have free parking or parking less than 15 dollars. I was disappointed in those things. Staying 1 night for almost 300 dollars you’d think those things would come with
Nice staff, clean rooms, easy check and out process, hot shower water, great location to Newark airport and nice food spots.

United StatesI arrived after midnight and waited almost an hour for the shuttle, which had been billed as coming every half hour without the need to call. I had even double checked by email before arrival if I needed to call for the shuttle. Eventually, I did call and they sent somebody to pick me up and the shuttle driver told me that late at night I needed to call.
It was clean but worn. Bed was comfortable. The first room I had the heat didn’t work and it was quite cold. They gave me another room once I realized the heater wasn’t working. I arrived at 1:30am after very long travel so this was not so great to have to change rooms when already so tired.

United StatesThe shuttle driver was blasting Christian rock at 5:30 am. He could have turned it down a bit. It wasn’t really about the style of music, just the volume so early in the morning before coffee!
Modern, clean and quiet. Adequate parking. Convenient shuttle service.

The renovated spaces were very ice upon entering the lobby. There was a gym available that you could see as you go to the elevators.

United StatesJust overpriced food/drinks.
I went on a trip to France, and booked parking at this hotel via Spothero. I decided to stay one night on my return before driving 3 hours home. I chose this hotel as it was about the only hotel at the airport that had a bar/restaurant. The drinks and food were fine, just overpriced. The room was huge! And a nice king size bed.

United StatesThe cleanliness of my room could’ve been significantly better. Unfortunately, I did not receive room service during my stay. But the room wasn’t necessarily clean when I checked Tom. I noticed this the day after. The bathroom in particular was not clean. There were hairs in the shower and faucet that did not belong to me. I understand housekeeping staff have their work cut out for them to meet the demands of a large hotel. But there’s an understandable expectation to provide a clean hotel room to any guest that checks in.
I had a pastry and coffee. Both were above average.
