The pool area and the pool is small ..

This was the second time we stayed at the property...our suite was huge ..and very comfortable..albeit with a little dated decor ..property was clean and overall a good value fir the money

We didn't like the road in front of the hotel. It was crazy busy. We have a toddler with us and walking to various locations was frightening, as we aren't used to traffic like that 😳 The only other dislike was the tiny balcony with not the biggest ocean view 😅 1/2 ocean 1/2 city.

We liked the location right on the beach. The staff was pretty friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Kids loved the pool and the beach. You can walk on the beach for a long distance. The room had a washer and dryer right outside of it. There are many places to eat within walking distance. Overall, it was a nice stay 🌺

You are forced to pay $38 a night for valet parking and then of course you feel obligated to tip when getting or returning your car (which for us was every day. You have to pay for a beach towel and chair, I was blown away by that one.

The 1st night and the next morning we didn’t get any sleep because it sounded as if there were some sort of renovation going on. It was very loud we informed the front desk

The hotel looks old. Some areas around the pool are old and moldy. The bathrooms in the pool area need to be redone and they were not clean. The room was big and spacious but the carpet needs to be replaced and is was not clean. Same with the kitchen area

Although the establishment was overall clean and nicely organized, I did notice in my particular room that there were some minor deficiencies, that, if one really wanted to nit pick, could be worth mentioning. For example, the frame around the doors were dented and scuffed a bit, including the door itself, as well as some wood rotting around the bottom of the door frame to the bathroom, probably due to water damage. Also, the paint on the wall in some spots appeared to be either faded or poorly done, perhaps in a hurry to cover over some damage to the wall. Either way, I think certain rooms and areas could use a touching up, or renovation perhaps, with fresh paint and the doors cleaned up a bit so that they are more presentable. It's sometime the little details that count and make a difference. Like I said, the building overall, is in good shape, but some age and wear shows. Maybe this would explain the water pipe burst which caused a lot of damage and made 2 of the 3 elevators inoperable for a while, which made the wait for an elevator a bit annoying. But, in truth, I think this is one of those things that no one could foresee or could have predicted. Perhaps it serves as a good warning sign that shows the need for a thorough inspection of the entire hotel. Time will tell, but it's just a suggestion.

I did have breakfast one morning at the hotel, and it was decent, with the price being fair for what I got. The staff are overall polite and professional who answered my questions directly (for the most part). The location is really nice (right on the coast), with also plenty of stores, restaurants, and drug stores nearby for anyone's needs. The hotel was overall very clean, with housekeeping always seen in the halls and entering my Room to clean up when I was out. The hotel did have a water pipe burst on the 11th floor, the day before I checked in, but they did accommodate me by upgrading my room to a King bed w/ Kitchen, and no additional charge. And it was on the 12th floor, which was above the water damage and wet carpet on the 11th and below. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with adequate amenities such as a pool, weight room, restaurant, and downstairs restaurant/bar.
