Having to maneuver luggage up steps to entry door, then down some stairs to get to elevator to room.

Easy check-in, nice front desk staff. I appreciated the gated on-site parking. Beautiful view of mountains from my room. Short drive to/from the event I attended. Fun and tasty waffles for complimentary breakfast.

There is nowhere on the booking .com page for the hotel that states they require a Deposit, so be aware of that, as it was more than higher end hotels do. Even with the no smoking signs, it smelt like cigarettes and pot on the 2nd level and even like they were currently smoking, not old and lingering smell. Staff didn't seem to care, even when I gave a room number where it was the strongest.

For the price you pay, is what you get. Room was clean for the value of the room.

When we first entered to check-in, some other unsatisfied guests walked out warning us to check our beds in the front lobby which is a disturbing way to be greeted. Unfortunately, the cancellation policy didn't allow us to get a refund, so we knew we were stuck for the 2 nights. Luckily, our beds didn't have anything outrageous, but you could tell the sheets were old, run-down, and had stains that will never come out. Also, we paid for a queen bed, but it clearly was full bed. The photos online are very misleading. Everything is super outdated and more cramped than the photos. Part of that is to be expected, but the worst part was that room had a really harsh odor upon entering. The bathroom had mold on the curtains and tiles, and an old rusted shower head which was mounted very awkwardly and short. We went straight back to the lobby to request to switch rooms on the chance that another room could hopefully not smell as pungent, but as we were waiting in line to speak with the front desk, the guests in front of us were also in the midst of a complaint which didn't seem to go too successfully, so after waiting awhile we figured it would be a waste of time, and settled on just sucking it up for the 2 nights. Despite it being downtown, it turns out to be on the outskirts where there were a lot of seedy activity going on. We made the mistake of thinking we could just walk over to closest bar / restaurant which should have only been a 5 minute walk for dinner, but as we stepped out, we saw 5 parked police cars flashing and were in the middle of arresting someone who was cuffed, sat on the sidewalk ahead of where we were trying to walk past. In the meanwhile groups of men were just huddled in dark corners of the gas station nearby eyeing us. Coming from a major city, we're used to some level of dodgy-ness, but our instincts told us to walk straight back to the inn and skip dinner.

Waffle-maker was a nice unexpected feature in the midst of everything else. Location was convenient to get to places. Parking lot was gated which turned out to be very necessary considering the area.

The staff was very unfriendly, they charged me a 200 dollar cash deposit which normally I would not have that kind of cash on hand..it would have been nice if they could have disclosed that prior to booking the room..I would have went elsewhere...the price of the room is not fitting the location of the hotel.. it's annoying to pay that much money for a room where the majority of the clientele are. People of the night..

The room was nice it was mostly clean..the bathroom was kind of gross..if I had my wife with me I would have requested a different room because of the bathroom..but it was ok for just me..

The hotel gave a rather shabby impression and was not tidy. The facilities in the room itself were better, but we also didn't find it as clean as we would have expected.

Room was small, no pool, parking lot is cramped, room was fairly clean, but hallways were dirty and hot, bed creaked, toilet didn't flush well, breakfast selection was minimal--no fresh fruit or protein foods. We wouldn't stay there again.
