Bathroom needed updates. Grout and tile were dirty and some of that was because it was old and beyond cleaning. Mildew on ceiling. Also window shade had mildew. Floor was new laminate and get that's great for cleaning but you had to keep the AC on a Dry setting to keep the humidity from creating condensation.

The room smelled of cleaning chemicals. It persisted all night. I fell asleep but the smell was overwhelming. This next part us unavoidable (unless owners change to sound lowering windows), but the location of the hotel allows for significant amount of outside noise, every car that drives by can be heard. Wifi was slow. This property is obviously an older property and the wear/tear shows. The elevators and surrounding areas were not kept clean.

The cost was significantly less than many of the other hotels. Breakfast was included (not my type of food, but nevertheless included).

The deposit! It's ridiculous that we have a deposit now and have NEVER had one before. Especially the fact that I have stayed here dozens of times.

It's close to where I need to be. I'm a GSU Doctoral student. All the other hotels are so nasty and expensive. It's nice to have an affordable place to stay when in town. I travel 4+ hours one way once a month.

The hotel is getting run down. The A/C & heater made noise when fan was blowing. Rooms need an update/remodel Outside door did not lock. Last year there was a homeless guy sitting in the hallway

The smell, old carpets, dark rooms and dark decor, and old bathrooms. Needed blankets, sheets, pillows for the pull out couch.

Old building and decor. It was clean beds, but there were no blankets, sheets, or pillows for the pull-out couch in the suite, that we needed. Needs a good refurbishment and cleaning but it was fine for the 1-night stay.

The rest of the hotel was worn down and dirty. The stairwell did not look like it had been cleaned in awhile, the side doors were broken so anyone could enter without a key, and the bathroom fixtures were old and mildewed. The whole hotel felt damp. Breakfast was not great - we decided to just eat out. The sofa bed was mildewed as well and barely passable as a bed. Extra linens were scarce. The room phone did not work and staff said to just use our cell phone to call if we needed them.

The staff was extremely nice and the beds were pretty comfortable. Clearly they have put some money back into new beds and some hallway carpet

As many guests have pointed out, the staff secure the side door push-bar with a zip tie and stuff he door latch with cardboard to keep the door from locking. This allows anyone to enter the hotel from the side parking lot.

Checked in for one night ahead of graduation. Great location.

They double charged me for my stay and it was a very inconvenient due to the fact I was miles away from home with no extra money

The smell of mildew in the room and floors and walls were dirty. Rust in shower and none of the outside security door won't close. So it's open access to anyone not staying there to come in and walk the halls. Didn't feel safe.
