We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was charming and the location was excellent-just a few blocks to the River and Leopold's Ice Cream Parlor.

I loved loved loved staying here. The hotel has that historic Savannah charm. The inside was beautiful, the staff was so friendly, and the rooms were even more beautiful; I loved the high ceilings. There is free wifi, complimentary sodas, you get a free drink voucher for the bar for each person over 21 staying in your room EVERY night (how could it get better than that), and you also get discounts to the restaurants that are associated with East Bay Inn. The location is incredible since you are a 5 min walk from river street. We walked to all the places we wanted to go and never walked more than 10 min to our destination. I loved this place and I will be staying here next time I'm in Savannah<3

United States of AmericaRoom could use a good dusting in the corners and hard to reach places. The toilet needs to be repaired as it’s loose and wobbling.
Hotel is in a beautiful building from the 1850’s or so. The staff very friendly and helpful. Very large room, nice restaurant and bar attached to the hotel. The location is fantastic!

We loved the room! We enjoyed a third floor room which feature high ceilings, wonderful appointments, and the bed was great!!!!! The ambience of the room made us feel very close to Savannah and her Southern charm!

United States of AmericaThe fan in our room ran all the time if there was any air or heat on. The fan only had auto and on functions and it never stopped running. Made the nights quieter but prefer not to have fan blowing over me all night long in the winter. Would prefer to have small microwave in room since it has refrigerator. The Keurig coffee make was unnecessary since there was free coffee in the lobby.
The ceiling height and interior brick walls gave the room a great vibe. Bed was very comfortable with nice seating area. Room had nice size refrigerator for leftovers.

A rustic old hotel in the spirit of historic Savannah. It was an old cotton warehouse converted to a hotel and the squeaky floors to attest to it. Located in the middle of the historic district. The room was spacious with very high ceilings.

My only suggestion would be to replace the mattresses in the room, they were starting to sag. Not a deal breaker, though. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Restaurant in lower level served breakfast and lunch. Bar in hotel was very nice, too!

The staff was so nice and always available. Even the cleaning lady was super friendly. We brought our dog and had no problems with her being at this hotel. Rooms are historic and spacious. Neighborhood was walkable and historic. Never encountered a ghost here but I’ve never encountered a ghost ever / lol.

United States of AmericaDuring cleaning, instead of focusing on one room, they were cleaning multiple at a time, so there was always towels in the hall way or trash for a long duration of time. Also, one of the front desk attendants did not acknowledge us at all during our stay when we were coming and going.
