Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI dont have too much to say. It would get messy or dirty by other travellers, at its worse right before cleaning. But that just happens when you are with so many people.
Great location, few minute walk to the beach, lots of cafes and restaurants around. The staff were all very nice and helpful, always there if I needed anything, and happy to help. I was a solo female, I only had option to book the mixed room but was put in the female dorm so that was nice. There is a locker with lock provided with each bed with bedding and towels, beach towels are also available at the front desk, so its nice you dont have to bring anything. Its nothing fancy but exactly what you would expect if youve stayed in hostels before and it is what it is for a good price. As cleanliness goes, the whole place is cleaned everyday properly. Mess and dirt happens as you are living with a bunch of other travellers.

CanadaThere are no plates or other stuff to cook, you can only use a microwave there is no hotplate i was very disappointed about it, cause you have no other choice than buy already prepared food if you wanna eat there and the fridge is too little for all the people in the hostel Complicated to have intimacy in the dormitory, a lot of noises when sleeping and always lights on
I like the confort of beds The pool is very cool The location is great Free wifi Big kitchen and sofa Big shower The staff cleans everyday the place

United States of AmericaThere are more than 20 people in the same room. And it’s so hard to keep track. I literally lost my power bank on the first night sleeping there. And there’s no camera or anything for the staffs to check who took it.

Chile- No eletrical or gas oven (just microwave). When you stay at a hostel that has a swimming pool, you would expect one - Some beds (just a few of them are too close to each other) which leads to less privacy This hotel is brave enough that will even ask you not to cover your bed - No luggage storage while you wait until check in time - Normally a hostel will let you use its facilities until the time of your flight. Dont expect that here Once the check out time has arrived you are out - Stolen food. More than a few times there were missing food in the fridge along with other things like chargers left on beds. Hotel did little or nothing about it (they could have checked the cameras)
Very tidy and clean Good A/C (no bad smells) Big safe for each bed Nice accomodadations TV and common areas 2 public computers Nice swimming pool Fridge

United States of AmericaTheir 21day stay per year policy ... You can only stay 21 days per calendar year... They lose a lot of money by causing there customers to go give there money to there competition after they have stayed 21 days that year
This is a great hostel right in the middle of south beach close to everything one block from the ocean employees are nice and professional

GuatemalaThe way the bunks are distributed. I don’t see why we all have to be in the same room without any separations or divisions for every couple of beds. People coming late the the room and their snoring was so unpleasant that it would wake me up every single day. I didn’t like that there’s no quite a space for privacy at all times since they close the rooftop and pool as early as 7pm.
The location and cleanliness of the hotel is phenomenal. They’re always making sure everything is tidy and looking good which is great. The staff was very supportive too.

New ZealandThe showers were very dirty with hair, soap scum, and old products (including razors). There also weren't any hooks to hang a toiletries bag on the inside of the shower or anywhere to put your clothes. The toilets are so open you can see, hear, and smell everything walking by. Many guests were also inconsiderate of the quiet hours and would play loud music and talk very loudly from the mezzanine.
Perfect location for exploring Miami Beach and getting on tours to the everglades. Lots of restaurants nearby and some convince stores selling sandwiches & fruit. The pool was very nice and it was great to lounge about by the pool rather than pay $60USD for an umbrella and chair at the beach. The staff were very friendly and check in & out was smooth.

United States of AmericaI didn't mind the coed dormitory type stay, although each shower stall has frosted glass doors, perhaps a main door for the shower room for a little added privacy would've been a courtesy.
It was very convenient to the nightlife and the beach is literally one block away! Many restaurants nearby!

CanadaThey had an ongoing renovation of bathroom and a lot of noise in the morning starting early as 8ish and at night time long-term guests that are living at a hostel and working in Miami, play games, and talk until almost 3am, despite quite policy at night. No outlets near the bed, door is huge and in order to charge your phone you have to leave phone far away from your bed, and even you do, someone just unplugs your phone and you find it empty in the morning, if you have 30 beds, and 5-6 outlets something is wrong.
The location is very convenient, the beach is the best by and a nice swimming pool.

United States of AmericaThe shower floor was filthy, full of hairs. The staff is probably hard to get in this economy. However, at some point the lack of sanitation is a public health problem. Some shower stalls were out of service and NOT getting fixed. The kitchen was lovely however the refrigerator was nasty. Old, expired, past due date food and drink. Yechhh. Could not use the fridge. Please set a date, once per week when all items are removed and thrown out. Thank you for an otherwise enjoyable stay.
The showers had plenty of hot water. Not too crowded at the times I used the showers. The kitchen was useful with the hot water electric kettle. I made hot broth from a powdered packet, and tea.

United KingdomPut extension cords near bed. Pool was closed, and after 10PM you need to start keeping the sound down. Because, it echo's to the rooms downstairs. Easy solution would be to leave a seating area for those outside the glass entrance. Who want to still stay up. Lastly, it would be good if blinds could be provided for the beds.
Location your really right in the heart of South Beach.

PortugalDespite bed was confortable I'd have liked more if I had more privacy. My bed localization (bed 1) was in front of all the other beds. It should be facing backwards. The lights in the restroom were flashing and it was just annoying.
I liked of the structure os the bunk and the bed was confortable.

United KingdomThe cleaning lady was rude to both me and my friends. She told one of my friends not to hang her towel on the bed, but where else was she supposed to hang it when there were no hooks besides the beds. Hooks for towels and other items of clothing needed. Many of my female companions felt uncomfortable with sharing a mixed-gender shower area with no locks on the showers. Please consider adding locks to the individual showers. At times, the mixed dorm did feel like a prison. I did not realise HOW many beds there were in that mixed dorm, and although there was plenty of space between the beds, it felt very much like I was sleeping in a jail at moments. It was also annoying having to sleep with numerous loud snorers in my dorm, but you can’t expect absolute silence if you’ve chosen to stay in a hostel. I wish there were charging points higher up so I could charge my phone in the top bunk without getting down. I was in a large group of female travellers but some of them admitted that staying in the mixed dorm at Posh by themselves would have made them feel uncomfortable, particularly as there were a lot of older men staying there. I would like an average age range of guests that typically book this hostel to be advertised next time.
I liked that it had a pool with umbrellas. The kitchen was large and spacious too. I had a large drawer to securely lock away my special items and the mattresses were super comfy and I got some well-needed rest. The location was great for the beach and close to a number of restaurants and about a 20 minute taxi from Miami International Airport. The showers were good and I liked that there were a number of full-length mirrors, which isn’t normally the case in hostels. The other guests were largely very friendly and welcoming. Good linens were also provided along with towels. The man who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The free happy hour was also a great touch.
