Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWhile the breakfast area staff and attendants were top notch, I'd say the front desk folks were a bit subpar. They weren't particularly friendly, didn't handle a difficult customer well so made a bunch of people wait in line, and they weren't really knowledgeable about the amenities or the surrounding area.
Breakfast was great - room was nice and spacious, clean and comfy. The location was also hard to beat.

United StatesParking fees are ridiculous. I feel we're already paying a large amount for the rooms, parking should be included.
The location, the shuttle to Disneyland, complimentary breakfast, and happy hour drinks. Rooms and bathrooms are large and could be updated but are still comfortable. There is a mini fridge, table, and pull out sofa.

Breakfast and cocktail hour were something to look forward to because the pool and gym were not accessible and atrium was being remodeled.

United StatesThe hotel was under renovation, which isn't a bad thing - just bad timing on our part. They did a good job mitigating issues related to the construction.
The hotel offered a great continental breakfast - nothing too fancy, but it was super convenient and a nice option before heading over to Disneyland.

United StatesWe had an incident on our first night that I don’t feel was resolved. When getting back into the room from the park our kids were sleeping on the pull out bed and they put the tv on to fall asleep. While flipping through Channels they reached channel 9 which was full on porn. Not a scene from a movie…porn. My 9 year old was so upset with what he saw. The next morning I let the staff know what had happened. I was wanting them to be aware that a very low channel easily accessible to children has porn on at night, and I feel like that channel should no longer be on there or you should need a password or something to access it. I have never seen a hotel that just offers up free porn. I feel like the hotel is heavily advertised for families coming to Disneyland and it’s very common for TV to be on late at night when the park closes for children to fall asleep with. I talked with two staff members one seemed understanding. One seems like it was no big deal and I was told that they would speak to management, they wrote down my room number, and told me that they would get back to me and I never heard a word. I feel like it’s a pretty big deal for your child to see full on porn on a Disney family vacation and I was looking for the staff to be a little more disturbed and understanding.
The location and room size was perfect. We were visiting from out of town to go to Disneyland. The bus option worked perfectly. Also breakfast before we headed to the park was great.

United StatesProperty is going through a remodel and when I booked my stay I didn’t see anything that said that until I made the reservation that was non refundable. Also be aware that you will be charged $25 parking fee per night to park in a parking lot that is shared with other hotels and a Italian restaurant doesn’t seem fair. 😡

United StatesThe only thing I would say wasn't good for us was the A/C. Our room was very warm even though we lowered the thermostat it just didn't feel like it was cooling down. Engineering did come look at it while we were out but the room didn't cool down enough.
The manager's reception (FREE cocktails) was a hit and much needed when we checked in. It definitely got our trip started on the right foot. Check in was quick and easy (it was around 5 pm) and front desk staff was helpful. A hot breakfast each morning was great, but our son couldn't stop raving about how much he loved the breakfast potatoes. Lots of options to choose from, which was nice to mix it up each day. There was always someone cleaning and clearing dishes. My husband had good things to say about the bar and bartender. It was nice that there was a store within the hotel as we forgot a toothbrush. We did make a quick trip to Target across the street to grab water and snacks for our room. Another feature I liked was the ability to text the hotel staff. I was surprised to get a "greeting" text from "Molly" at the hotel. Usually we don't do more than sleep in our rooms on vacation but this trip we did actually take the time to lounge around so having a suite was nice for that as well. We used the hot tubs a couple nights which was also a plus. There is a ART bus stop right in front of the hotel which got us right to Disneyland in minutes. Lots of places to walk to and eat dinner as well. If you're looking for a Starbucks, it's located in the Hyatt right behind the Embassy.

New ZealandBooked and paid extra for a room that would show the fireworks from Disneyland. Wasn’t aware when booking that the fireworks display wasn’t every night. Only Friday / Saturday nights. The staff knew this because they were the ones that told me. We stayed Sunday - Thursday. I paid extra for a room which didn’t add value. We also endured a blocked toilet (twice) as it wouldn’t flush correctly and a constant leak from the bath tap. Minimal hot water for showers in the evening to add to the list.
