How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

My only complaint was that I found the room to be musty/humid. I am not sure if the air conditioner was working properly or not. Althought the room was a comfortable temperature, it should have been colder when I turned the thermostat down to 65 degrees. We did not spend a lot of time in the room other than to sleep and when we got in and unpacked we did not want to move all of our things and request another room. So we just dealt with it. I did tell the staff when I checked out.
Location was good. We ate dinner at the bar and that was good. staff was courteous. The room was clean. Breakfast was great.

Didn’t get enough towels for how many people were staying in the room. There is no hot tub at the location either. Only one elevator was working with no stairs to take instead
The breakfast was amazing. I like the room style where there’s different spots to stay.

We loved the accommodations but the staff was amazing. The breakfasts every morning we had were so good. Misty made the best omelets and Aloni (spelling??) and Katia were the best A-team with her serving up wonderful breakfasts. Than there was Jeff that kept the tables clean so efficiently and so kind. We also had dinner a few times with the happy hr and Lynn always made sure we were taken care of. All very kind and attentive. I am hoping I have the names correct and there were many more that helped us and never got names. But when you stay as long as we did 10 days we really appreciated the wonderful service. We definitely will be trying to go back as we enjoyed it so very much. I would love to have this forwarded to the staff as I don't feel they always get the recognition they deserve. There was my husband, son and sister so the four of us. Many days at amusement parks and they made it so much better.

Just the fact that at night it was really loud but that has nothing to do with the hotel and everything to do with the location being in the middle of downtown.
The suite was more spacious than I thought!! I think the hotel itself is beautiful, we were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived.

Complicated paper for the parking garage, we had a rainy weekend so we will get wet and the car as well :(
I was totally impressed with the breakfast FINALLY we enjoy it; plenty space to seat and enjoy the meal. Super happy with the location. Spacious room.

The only thing was the shower and shower curtain were troublesome. The shower head shot water out of the shower and ended all over the floor. The shower curtain didn’t stay closed.

They didn’t refill shampoo, or give new towels or toilet paper unless requested. The ice bucket was torn, a pillow case had mold on it.

Shuttle van was not operational.
Central location, very nice and close to alot of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good and happy hour was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room wasn’t ready when we got there, I understood that, it’s a holiday weekend. They said they would text or call when it was ready. They did not. We just happened to come back and noticed other people checking in. Our room was missing blankets towels, washcloths, and hand towels. After three phone calls, we were finally able to get some. Other than that, everything was clean. The staff was helpful in locating things around the hotel.
Breakfast was good. The location to the Amway Center was good.
