1. Furniture old, dirty, and broken. 2. The beds were awful, when you sit before lay down, the mattress goes completely down because those are old they lost their body and structure. 3. The dining area was cold, and the seats weren't comfortable. 4. The buffet isn't extraordinary as it was in the 80's and 90's. 5. I don't like your politics to make extra charges for the parking lot or for the use of the shuttle for the airport.

I fell hard after slipping while exiting the stairs to outside. I came to the front covered in mud and I was barely able to get a towel. The staff was so kind, but someone in management should have recognized I had an injury due to no sidewalk.

Pillows and beds. Not fair you charge parking.

The view was great! The room was warm and the AC was not easy to use. Pillows are super old and not comfortable. The beds are too soft. The breakfast was great. Overall was a good experience. For the price I think it was kind of worth it. But is NOT FAIR that you charge parking. It’s not normal. I would stay there again but in a cheaper room.

Oh my, paying $40 a night for parking and having to park far away were bad. My wife is handicapped and between all the limited handicap parking spaces and all the people parked illegally in those spaces, that made it tough.

The location and all that came with the hotel were very awesome. The hotel is super clean. The elevators are the fastest I've ever been in. The food is great. I do like the free drinks for the evening reception as well. The view of the bay is very romantic as well.

As a recovering alcoholic I was saddened that the happy hour bar wouldn't provide non-alcoholic drinks at all. I had to separate from my party and go to the restaurant bar to order them, and they weren't free. The happy hour coupon did reduce the price of non-alcoholic drinks, but why wouldn't they be free when alcohol was. Front Desk never advised that the shuttle to the airport required a fee, was first come, first serve, thus not guaranteed transportation and not managed by the hotel. Even though I called before I booked to ask, the airport shuttle was the only reason we chose this hotel over others available at the same or cheaper price. I asked when we checked in, and as we were checking out, we were only told to be out front for the shuttle at 930 am. In my opinion, that's fairly important information for the staff not to impart on so many occasions. We struggled to understand the drivers English, and he refused to take our luggage. We had one carry-on and one regular luggage per person. The shuttle left without us. I asked the front desk staff, and they called the service or driver, I'm not sure. They advised that the shuttle does take luggage. We waited for it to return. The driver then did take our luggage, but at an extra fee. So it was $10 per person to use the shuttle. The transportation experience was made unnecessarily horrendous and extremely stressful due to the lack of information provided. We barely made our flight. We arrived at the gate just before the final boarding call. Lighting was a little odd. The "living room" of the suites only had 2 low light lamps, no top light to brighten the space. It was fine. I just found it odd.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were spacious, and regular beds were very comfortable. Atrium/ interior central courtyard was gorgeous and restful. Restaurant staff were absolutely amazing, especially the bartender, very kind, and made excellent virgin drinks. Free happy hour alcoholic drinks were an unexpected surprise.

I loved the architecture of this hotel. The courtyard was very nice and reminiscent of old California. The location is great for views of the bay and an easy, nice walk to a good restaurant nearby.

The carpets were wet...just cleaned?? why?? The "double" beds were really small for 2 people! Front desk called them queens by accident...yep...definitely not queens! I slept on the sleeper sofa. No roller beds at the hotel...huh?? The tub was a bit beat up too.

The fact it’s by the water and the ambiance.

We love the place, but when we tried to call the housekeeping nobody pick up the phone, we didn’t have enough toiletries, I had an allergy there was only two pieces left of facial tissue in the small box, no slippers, only two servings of coffee, it’s not worth of what we paid $213 per night.

That my refrigerator had to be replaced. The ice machines were too far away from my room. The beds at Homewood Suites were more comfortable than Embassy Suites. The coffee is third rate, substitute for dish water. How could you serve bad coffee in one of the coffee capitals of the US? The pool was abysmally small, for the size sand number of guests you house nightly. If we can't get assistance with our luggage, why can't you bring back valet parking?

Check in at around 9pm was fairly slow because there was just one person at the desk. Hotel in general seems a bit old. No chance to eat something later in the afternoon (we did know that but it could be bothering)

Buffet breakfast with lots of things to choose from. Some trails to walk. Nice view of the bay, the airport and landing planes. Small pool and nice big atrium. Large rooms

Check in desk staff not friendly. No complimentary water offered at check-in or in room we always used to receive as HH member. Pillows soft and wimpy, felt worn and cheap. 2 drink min at happy hour. No beer available at happy hour, machine not working. Had to purchase beer at the bar. No food options available in the afternoon. Had to go across the street for late lunch.

Atrium is very beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was good.
