Guy on the front desk when I checked in was brilliant…super helpful. Location was super convenient for the subway to travel into Manhattan, but cost effective for visiting Manhattan as well!

Everything went well except: 1) The TV remote did not work well. I had to continuously shake and hit the control on a hard surface for the channels to change! 2) I was not informed that parking was not available or that the spaces were rented out and visitors did not have access to them. Instead I was referred to parking garages down the street.

Location a little out of the way, but felt like a less touristy experience (which is no bad thing).

Big, clean and comfortable room. The staff were lovely. Small but usable fitness centre with good selection of machines and weights. In summer the roof terrace would be amazing.

Check is was tedious: they could not find my full reservation (via booking.com) for two rooms and I was waiting in the lobby for over 30 minutes before they could clear it up. They could have handled it better. For instance, when whatever system you use to manage your day to day operations isn't working the way it should, i don't care why... all I want is my room. Give me what I want and then figure out what to fix on your own time, not mine.

easy to find, location worked well for us. rooms were nice enough. price was competitive, but cheaper thru third party than it was direct thru hotel.

Breakfast could be better. Coffee was weak, bagels were not great and muffins and pastry looked unappealing. Juice machine was empty when breakfast opened.

The windows were not soundproof. We were on the 5th floor and we could hear people outside the building, screaming, arguing at night.

The pillows and pillow covers in our room smelled stale and as if there was lingering sweat on them. I asked for the pillows and covers to be changed. I told the front desk staff and they told me they would get housekeeping to change the sheets and pillows. I am not sure if they changed the pillows or just the pillow covers. I noticed a change for the better after returning to our room in the evening but my husband still felt there was an odour. He thought the pillows should have been completely replaced. Also, with a king bed, the size of the pillows were small, more like pillows for a double bed.

The location was great. The breakfast was good. The room was quiet. Staff were very attentive.

What I liked best was walking the immediate neighborhood and seeing how it's changing and that in a few years, it will have changed completely to more high apartment buildings.

The room was nice with a big bed and a nice bathroom. It was clean and breakfast was solid. The view was good and the location was perfect. Only a ten minute walk to Atlantic Barclays train station and loads of restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby.

Hot water from the shower takes may be 30 seconds to start. I got drenched with icy water before getting a warm shower.

Zillah B, the front desk person on night shift, is an angel. She was very kind and helpful. She made our stay much better. The room size was decent. Beds were made every day. Breakfast has good varieties. Getting an Uber was very easy.

The price was extremely high for the single night we were there, and we learned only after we arrived that we should have booked parking ahead--we ended up paying quite a bit to park in a garage about a quarter mile away.

Convenient to the Brooklyn Museum of Art and Park Slope neighborhood, though the hotel's location is on the edge of a less attractive area. Staff were fantastic and the room was clean and comfortable.
