How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location and access to areas in Jupiter. Quick in and out as well. Facilities safe and maintained well. Nothing really to brag about, just fair value for one nights rest.

The rooms are a bit small. Our room smelled dirty/moldy everytime we walked in.
The location was nice for our reason for travel.

Couldn't get a second office chair for room so that two of us could sit at table and use individual laptops. TV didn't have Fox Business Channel.
Liked that Donald (handyman) repaired (next day) clothes rack that came out of wall and fell to floor when we hung clothes/garment bags on it on first night. No problems after his repair. Location is great with easy highway access as well as shops/stores/dining very close by. TV had NFL network!

The first room offered on the ground floor was very clean but had a strong mildew damp smell. I was surprised it was offered & not eradicated. She quickly found us another without an issue.
Very friendly & professional staff. Had all the amenities needed. Clean.

The carpet had a muggy wet smell as you enter the room. There was also little bit of mold in the restroom.

The eggs had water in them from being steamed, I ate them and thought they were just ok but my son did not. There was no bread other than prepackaged bagels that were frozen. The oatmeal was very runny again too much water so not one person ate oatmeal. Most of the people just got something because they wanted breakfast but being very honest I saw a lot of food tasted and thrown away. I got a bagel with my eggs and didn’t touch the sausage because it didn’t look appealing. We had KFC across the street and we ate everything we got. So I’m ok eating fast food that isn’t all that great. There food was better and we had to bring biscuits back to get fresh ones. They were so hard they actually threw the whole tray out. I know everyone is on a budget but if the people are throwing the food out or not taking it at all makes you loose in either circumstance. I am going to stay again because your staff is excellent and the hotel isn’t about the breakfast

There was a disconnect between booking.com and Fairfield registration. We ordered a King Room with sofa bed on booking.com whereas Fairfield only had King Room registered. Once I showed the front desk the booking.com room reservation on my phone, they switched us to an Executive Suite. I am not sure what end the disconnect was on, but make sure you have a way to show the hotel the room reserved in booking.com. There wasn’t a channel menu for you to determine shows, so had to manually view each one and a good number of them appeared somewhat fuzzy (I guess I am spoiled with HD).
We happened to hit the 1st night for the front desk reception employee, but she handled the various guests’ questions professionally and she was accommodating to change rooms after we provided validation of room reserved being different. The breakfast staff was pleasant and kept food replenished. Food options were good for continental breakfast. We ended up adding an additional room and everyone said the beds were very comfortable .

The hot tub looks dirty like the tub itself needs to be scrubbed and the water was just a little warmer than the pool. Not hot at all.
