Windows sealed shut and still leaked air along with a sign saying do not open. Just makes you wonder what to do if the only exit were to become blocked. The refrigerator needed to be defrosted so the door would shut . Construction on the road and home next door was just bad timing on my part.

We thought the walls were a little thin (could hear the people next us). Also, the beds could be replaced . They're just a little too squeaky and outdated.

Loved the view of the sound on each side of the building. Nice rooms.

The door going in and out later cleaning the blinds in the windows needs to be replaced and there's a whole Nest to the utility pole that needs to be filled in my friend fell in the hole and fell

Could have been cleaner and needs new curtains. Curtains would not close easily and were in poor condition. Such an inexpensive fix….

I didn't like the fact that the Kees Vacation company, who owns Fin n Feather, blatantly lied about the fact that we couldn't check in our room early. Not only did they send it once, but they sent about 3 messages stating how, (even though I didn't ask), that we couldn't check in early. The reason I know they lied, is because a WONDERFUL staff member let us in early!!! We have a child and it was close to 100 degrees. Why would a company that doesn't mind taking my money, blatantly lie about our room not being ready? Greed. That's why. Because of this, none, and I mean NONE of our family or friends will ever stay at another Kees Vacation establishment.

We liked the layout of the home. Our 14 year old had his own bedroom. We didn't like that there wasn't a swimming area, considering the fact that we chose a hotel based on that. It was clean. Ran out of toilet paper and never found the remote for one of the bedroom TV's. Checking in without staff was not pleasing. I also had to help a couple of ladies from Italy, check in . It is unnecessarily complicated and confusing. This is something that should be shared with the guest immediately after booking. A couple throw rugs would be nice. It's not like there's sand around the home. The refrigerator took all night to get a drink cold. Overall, okay. Got more of an efficiency apartment vibe than a waterfront/beach vacation rental.

My room didn’t have soap nor shampoo for the shower or for the sink to wash hands. There was a dispenser for them but emptied. Luckily we brought our own. A couple of light bulbs out and one of the bed lamps was out.

Great location between Roanoke Island and Nags Head Beach. Dog friendly and communication texts before I arrived provided all info needed for the stay. Comfy bed.

Our only complaint was the smell. It's clear the room had some water damage at some point as there was a soft spot on the floor, no big deal we just avoided the area, but the whole room smelled musty to the point our hair and clothes took the smell home.

Room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful views from our room.

Having to wait 2 mins after check in time for my code to work. I also arrived 10 mins early which I should have been able to get in the room at least 5 mins early.
