No real breakfast buffet (filter coffe and muffins on a bar) Hotel bar small and in the middle of the lobby Lack of privacy due to basically no noise cancelling in the room - one could hear all conversations of other rooms or corridors. Too noisy overall. A&C too loud and not efficient, either too cool or too warm

The room was too cramped for 3 people to stay in. There was only one foot of space between one of the beds and the bathroom door. The closet is poorly designed and can't accommodate more than 1-2 coats at a time, plus it uses 1/3 of the space for a useless ironing board and iron (who irons anymore?). In addition, the room was sadly lacking a microwave or little refrigerator. I suppose I should have seen that in the room description, but given all the hotels I've stayed in, I assumed that was the default, to have a microwave and fridge.

The location was excellent and the beds were comfy.

The front desk staff is usually OK, however the last time I stayed one of them was pretty rude.

Perhaps the price could be more reasonable, but it is New York. I wish the price better reflected other world cities like Florence, Rome, Montreal, Toronto, Paris.

We found the location to be excellent- a 5 minute walk into Greenwich Village and bordering Tribeca/Soho the other direction. Subway was an ideal 2 mins away. The hotel's king size rooms are a fair size for the price and the cleaning staff was very kind. It was good of the front desk staff to store our bags on check out day so we could continue to enjoy the city before our flight. They were also good at communicating pre-arrival.

Rooms are small, even for NYC. The door to the bathroom is frosted glass, so if you’re traveling with someone and need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light will likely wake you up. The walls are not that thick; but running the AC /heat creates white noise / buffer to help drown out loud neighbors and more than the typical NYC traffic (which normally doesn’t bother me).

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby cozy and cute. Room was extremely clean and comfortable, and nicely appointed. Nice to have shampoo, etc. and hairdryer so you don’t have to bring. Excellent location for weekend in SoHo /Greenwich Village.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet even for NYC. The staff were always warm and friendly and very helpful. The complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the foyer was great especially as the weather was getting cool.

So small, we slept in a room with two doubles and four people. If I would have known it was this small I would have booked two rooms. The air was never right, we were either freezing or roasting. The cost after Thanksgiving doubled compared to the rest of the year.

Love the neighborhood, close to great food and the subway station. Soho has some great shops.

Tiny gym, but better than nothing. Vending machine only had one brand of cola.

Great spactious rooms, bathroom, comfortable beds, and amazing free coffee at the lobby. Excellent location. Our stay was peaceful and quiet compared to other city hotels I’ve stayed at, but I got a higher floor thanks to booking.com’s deal and was pleasantly surprised by its direct impact on comfort.

The room I had was aged and the noise from other guests all hours of the night made it terrible for sleeping. The lift was also dodgy and took a long time to arrive.

The fact the restaurant was independent and closed on a Sunday (bar and restaurant) and shut early for a Friday (by 11).

Comfortable, large bed. Helpful staff when we had an issue with a very noisy group in the room next to us.

LOUD. Could hear every conversation of other guests, doors, elevators and tons of street noise as well. Hard to sleep. On 5th floor so maybe higher would be better. Facilities clean but falling apart. Toilet paper holder kept falling off. Lights by bed can't be turned off independently and you had to unscrew a bulb to sleep. Had to crank on shower faucet handle.

Nice helpful staff. Great spot within walking distance of NYU and Village spots, High Line, etc. Good subway access. Comfortable bed.

The drinking water in the lobby was always empty. The night shift front desk attendant was very dismissive and seemed more interested in talking on the phone and playing games on his phone than to speak to me. Shower was a little difficult to figure out, and the toilet flush would get stuck and would need to be pulled back up after being pushed down.

Room was cleaned very well and hotel was in a great location. Shower and bathroom were great and spacious.
