Room was clean-ish, very musty smelling, ancient heaters put off some funky smells. Old worn out couch in room was completely worn out and with a cover on it.

We had two cars, so since the parking was limited, one car had to park on the busy street.

The motel was close to where I was going in the morning. Bed was comfortable.

Room was clean, beds comfortable, amenities sufficient. We slept well. Had a bit of difficulty locking the door, but got it to work.

had to wait 3 hours to get into our room at 10:30 at night after traveling for 14 hours in a car. Sign on the door said be back at 10pm even tho had email confirming they would be available to get us in the room when we were to arrive. they had no knowledge of our booking that was already paid for and had confirmation# for. Room was not clean and no pillowcases on pillows. TV didn't work and light bulb burned out entire time even tho told it would be fixed.

walking past other rooms, we saw doors with peeling paint , torn and broken Venetian blinds and curtains in need of replacement. The exterior of the building needs attention. The door to our room was difficult to lock and unlock and the key stuck in the lock, and did not turn easily. The biggest drawback was that their Wi-Fi was down and so we could not pay with a credit card; we had to go to an ATM and get a cash advance and pay the fees for that in order to pay for our room.

room number six had a sitting area and a separate bedroom. It was nice and large, clean, and the furniture and draperies were in good shape. The room looked better on the inside and it did from the outside.

The security on the door was lacking. The deadbolt was broken, and the chain lock was broken. Even the storm door wouldn't close all the way and didn't lock. Anyone could have broken into our room. I was sick with a sudden cold and every time my husband had to leave to get medicine or food I was scared to be left alone. A trip to Home Depot would help to get some issues fixed.

It was close to the Bay where we were going to get a boat out to fish on the Ocean. It was close to a resteraunt.

Fantastic location and great customer service. Recommended a few restaurants in the area and they were amazing. Walking distance to whale watching, shopping, restrauants, fishing and sight seeing.

The heater did not work. I bought a $25 space heater at Fred Meyer in Newport and that sufficed. Was never given the wifi password. Cleanliness could have been better. The facilities are very worn, especially the carpet. The showerhead is so low I had to get on my knees to rinse my face. The toilet paper is mounted so low, I think it is for leprechauns.

The price was lower than the alternatives. Nice firm bed. No daily maid service. Good location in Depoe Bay across Highway 101 from a city park. It appears to be owned and operated by a family that lives on site--thus why you have to check in by 8pm. The office door is locked after that.

If you are going to be an older building, you must be exceptionally clean in order for people to over look you are an older building. There are so many little things that wouldn't cost much to make this place better.
