We had very poor service in Chesters. Staff seemed completely disinterested in attending to outside tables and just stood chatting together by their station. This was at 4.30 pm I’m so called happy hour. Long delay in getting food; similar trying to get the bill and pay.

The double room should have queen beds they were a little small in length and I slept with my daughter. Also we didn’t have a reg fridge to put our water in.

Very unfriendly staff, not helpful at all and not willing to consider their guests (the employee at checkin did not even say hello, the doorman did not help with the suitcases). Only exception at checkout where the lady was nice.

Amazing location in the heart of the Meatpacking district. The Grand Deluxe Room is spacious and offers nice views, great bathroom with bathtub.

The location is awesome! However, the room/bed leaves a little to be desired, although I loved having a corner room with a balcony. Please provide a little less mini-bar and a little more drawer storage!

No kettle / coffee maker, but you get one if you ask for it. Incredibly noisy. Groups of women running from room to room, slamming doors and shouting, from midnight to 3am. Hotel staff had to intervene. This happened on 3 nights. Soundproofing is very poor, gaps around the door and thin doors.

The only slightly sour note was a run in ith an inebriated guest in the rooftop bar but the staff did everything they could possibly have done to defuse the situation and even opened up a different area of the bar to enable us to dine in relative peace away from the difficuty.

Location was exceptional and the staff delightful. most places were walkable and the High Line was literally a stones thow from the hotel. The room was enormous and extremly comfortable and the pool a delight for an early morning dip.

The area is fantastic with many restaurants and bars in walking distance and a more neighbourhood vibe of New York. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The view from the rooftop is beautiful.

Not the fault of the staff, but their system was down 2 of 3 days during my stay so I couldn’t have room keys. Also, the AC/heating unit in the room didn’t work well.

The location is fantastic. Calm, peaceful area next to the highline, with great shops and restaurants very nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good size room for NYC.

Whilst the design is very nice it feels like maintenance hasn't been kept and guest experience hasn't been thought through, there were several small annoying things: - bed table lamps broken on arrival and no replacement available - the bathroom door is a barn-style door (not soundproof therefore) and the door didn't close properly  - not enough storage (one wardrobe, with one shelf and two small drawers) - the thermostat was broken - peeling wallpaper - window crank was broken and I could open the window completely which is dangerous on the 10th floor - no hooks for towels in the bathroom  - noisy (could hear conversation from the corridor) - there could be one main ceiling light, I'm all for indirect lighting (table and floor lamps) but at night the room felt too dark sometimes.

Fantastic location, staff was always great, very nice toiletries provided (Grown Alchemist), great design. Nice to have a modern speaker in the room and a Chromecast-ready TV.

I would greatly appreciate being able to get coffee at least by 6, and in the lobby would be fine. Yes there’s a Starbucks nearby that opens at 530 but it has been raining both times I went at that hour in my last few stays.

I double booked and the hotel gave me a refund on one room. I was very very pleased. The room is comfortable, Large, quiet and clean. Central to my meeting location (the whitney). MUCH better than the now worn Standard, With its imperious service.
