Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe front desk was rude, a guy even mumbled that we were cheap, we are from Canada so we were confused a bit by the exchange rate lol but I still found that hilarious haha. I wish the rooms were also bigger and had nicer views. and maybe a restaurant with lunch at the bar wouldn't be that bad!
The hotel has an amazing cocktail bar that I didn't went to, but it looked really pretty, The coffee from the breakfast was the highlight everyday! amazing! is located in a safe zone which was great and it looks very nice from the outside!

United States of AmericaA wider breakfast selection would be good. Other than that I have no complaints about anything.

CanadaThe hotel in general has dark hotel hallways and noise (even from phone alarms and street noise can be heard). The hotel needs sound proofing. The shower was very small and narrow to comfortably shower in.
The room was cute and the hotel was lovely. The bar is modern with a great bartender/bar manager. He is creative and his drinks don’t disappoint. The breakfast at the hotel bakery was the best part of the stay. So delicious and it’s lovely that that is included one meal item and one drink of choice and made fresh on the spot. Transit is within mins walk from the hotel and there are the loveliest doorman there to greet you and open the door. Kyani was at reception and she goes above and beyond to learn her guests and offer suggestions, help and complimentary bottles of water. Lovely work desk and my room was changed to a lesser tiny space and viewed a laneway as opposed to my initial dark room which faced concrete walls. I appreciated the security features too of key card access to rooms. Quaint and lovely room and a comfortable bed.

CanadaThe room is fairly small, but perfectly serviceable, and no smaller than most NYC hotels.
Great location in a safe part of Manhattan, very close to Madison Square Park. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and relatively quiet. We were impressed with the breakfast! Good breakfast sandwiches and lattes.

United States of AmericaOnly very minor issue was the hot water for the shower took a long time to heat up, so you had to wait a few minutes before it stopped being freezing cold
Great location, lovely staff, breakfast cafe, small but clean & cozy room, and aesthetics.

FinlandThe bathroom feel cold and my room had 24hour noise from out side. It seems like a motor for running constantly.
Their lobby was warm and welcoming. It was bit dark but they have cozy sofa to be relaxed. Also their room decoration looks very luxury mixing modern and mid century style.

AustraliaLoved our stay at The Evelyn in NOMAD. It was a perfect location for visiting Manhattan with access to subway stations & buses to all the major attractions. The King Deluxe room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom and also very quiet! We enjoyed a nightcap at Tusk Bar and the grab & go breakfast was just what we needed to start our day out. Thanks for having us and we hope to get back again.

United States of AmericaMy only complaint would be hotel guests should have first dibs at bar seating. Some seats are “reserved”. A few should be “reserved” for hotel guests.

CanadaExpected more of a Christmas feel at reception/in the hall. The feeling I got from their Instagram was very "family"/"community" feel. Especially as we stayed over Christmas we were expecting more. When walking around the local area and other hotels; it was clear to see others went above and beyond for this.
The breakfast options for guests were great. The bed was very comfortable as were the quality of the linen, towels and gown. The bathroom was also great, we really liked the convex make up mirror.

United States of AmericaOf course, no view worth opening up the draperies. Breakfast choices could be more varied although the items served were fantastic. Was one of the higher priced hotels we've stayed in over the past 15 years relative to the style, room size, and overall value for the price.
Nice spacious room for a NYC boutique style hotel. Great bathroom and shower. Location was centralized for a good Manhattan experience. Very nice lobby staff and atmosphere!

United States of AmericaThe bed was awkward to sleep in. The bedding material did not feel comfortable and I felt like I was sleeping in a child bed with vinyl protection within the sheets. I would have preferred a more natural bedding set up.
The front desk staff was very helpful and the room was clean and nicely lit.
