Restaurant wasn't open and no sign saying it wasn't open, charged card extra if you were going to order room service but the restaurant was closed. Only bad thing.

How quiet the floor was we were on. The hotel was busy but staff was very friendly! Location was awesome. Will stay again!

Very welcoming with friendly, helpful staff! The lovely view from the reception room was gorgeous especially as we were there in February and there were skaters on the rinks. The view across the lake with the bright sunshine and blue sky was beautiful!

Our room faced Mirror Lake, the views were beautifully. We could walk to shopping and the Olympic Village. The staff were helpful and friendly. Kim was especially nice and gave us lots of great information. We loved our stay and will be back for sure. The hydro bike was a blast.

Wish it wasn't so pricey but everything is since the pandemic.

We were going to Golden Arrow 1-2 times a year (a 3 1/2 hour drive from our home in upstate NY) prior to the pandemic but this was our first visit since everything has opened up. We love the Golden Arrow it's updated, clean and the staff are helpful and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the tidy up service, they make the bed and replenish the room supplies. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shopping, Golden Arrow's private beach. We park our vehicle and don't have to move it until we leave unless we venture outside of the village. Their grounds are beautiful and perfectly kept, we enjoy the outside fireplaces overlooking the lake. The lake is calm, no motorboats and perfect for kayaking. Golden Arrow is the only place we stay in Lake Placid because we have been so pleased.

A perfect location in the center of town with majestic views of WhiteFace, Algonquin, Marcy and Colden Mountains. The Golden Arrow has a beautiful white sand beach with access to kayaks, canoes, row boats, paddle boards, etc. At the end of the day you can sit by the beachside fire table and reflect on your ADK travels! The staff are very professional, welcoming and attentive to all your needs. If you are looking for beachfront accommodations with beautiful views, this place is for you!

Beautiful piece of property, second time there and will continue to book if I travel to lake placid again. The location is right in the heart of the town and within walking distance to everything.

I wish the property enforced quiet hours as it was noisy well into the night. I also wish there was a place to sign up for the kayaks instead of just first come, first serve.

This property is directly on the lake with free kayaks, paddle boards, towels, etc. The location is good and the amenities were quality. The TV had many channels and the linens/towels were comfy.

The layout of the hotel was a little confusing at times. Having to go down a level to get to the other side and then go back up to the same level through another area. The one real disappointment was the air conditioner/fan in the room. It was an old unit and very loud.
