Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIt took a while for the person at the front desk to come when we first got there. The breakfast was extremely basic and staff was nowhere to be found during breakfast when almost everything ran out.
Beds were very comfortable and it was right across the street from some good restaurants.

United KingdomThe place is dated. They have free breakfast, but it's not worth checking out. The toilet flush in our room was fidley, but working. Since we were only staying for one night, it wasn't worth the hassle asking for another room.
It's centrally located and you can walk up to the shops and restaurants easily.

Check in was good as the room had been reserved. It was just a short dive back from Grand Canyon after a day of site seeing.

United States of AmericaNeeds deep cleaning. Mattress was super uncomfortable, I woke up with very sore neck & shoulders. ‘Breakfast’ area is a mess day & night with hot chocolate residue everywhere. It’s right next to front desk, would it kill them to wipe down the counter once in a while? I had to go over every surface in my room with disinfectant wipes… there were a lot of strange sticky marks. With a little more attention to detail on the cleaning & new beds, this could be a decent place to stay
Can’t beat the price $40. Hot shower with good water pressure. Bedding appeared clean. Ok coffee (use the cappuccino setting, it’s the least watery)

United States of AmericaThe staff was great and I helpful. Although rough by today standards, for the price, couldn't be beat. Lastly, it's on Rte 66, close to the Grand Canyon and way less expensive than Flagstaff. P.S. the food in Williams is amazing.

United States of AmericaWalls are very thin. Pool was covered even though it’s a heated pool. Staff only cleans ur room every 3 days unless u ask. And even then they only ask what u need and then give it to you to do yourself. No staff available early in the morning.

New ZealandThe tap water came in very thin jets and with extremely high pressure. When we washed our hands, water splashed all over us. There were bottles of hand soap and shampoo but they were empty. We were given only soap bars upon our request. The room needs to be vacuumed properly. It took ages to warm the room with the heater as the heater was in a recess.
Free breakfast.

United States of AmericaIf the weather is not really nice, there's VERY limited seating in the breakfast area. *Not the hotel's fault* but there was a dog in a residence behind the hotel that barked for hours at a time, and you could hear the train occasiionaly so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. There was a mixup regarding the day of checkout. I apologized profusely but I felt that he didn't want to listen to my apologies, he just explained why he needed me out. He also asked if he could move our stuff into the office while he waited for us to get there. When I explained we were 30 min away but would be there promptly to fix the situation, he seemed ok with that solution. I apologized again when I got there and, again, felt he wasn't interested in hearing my apology. I was in the midst of a panic attack due to the situation at that point which may be clouding my judgement. While I understood his position, I do feel as though he could have been a little more patient and understanding about the mixup. I was annoyed to get back to Flagstaff (we'd been in Sunset Crater--awesome, but no cell service) to find 15 missed calls starting at 12:05 and ending at 12:47 when I finally got notice that I had missed calls, no voicemails, and a text, which did explain what was going on. Overall, I do think this situation could have been handled better. I was sick at check in so tbh I'm not sure if he did state the check out date at that time or not.
Breakfast was really good--lots of variety. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Shampoo and conditioner were in pumps in the shower. Very clean. Beautiful location. Great food just across the street.
