Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe traffic noise in the room.
The room was nice and large, but the noise from the trucks in the morning was not good. It was ok for us but my significant other would not be able to sleep. Parking was convenient. Cookies and tea were terrific...

United States of AmericaAs always exceptional staff. First there was a fire alarm issue and they not only relocated us to another room they also upgraded us for the inconvenience. Then upon check out I hurt myself and they were amazing at not only keeping me calm and making sure I was okay they called EMS to look at me too! Truly amazing staff & facilities.

United States of AmericaOne critique is the cleanliness of the in room jacuzzi. Upon using ours, we noticed mildew and brown dirt building up. We opted to stick with the outdoor jacuzzi as it’s likely to be cleaned more frequently.
I loved the hotel’s amenities including the lounge spaces, game room, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. We stayed in the king deluxe room with an in room jacuzzi in the Mansfield house which is slightly further from the main building and amenities. The room was extremely spacious. Lighting was a little limited but it added to the romance. The location is perfectly situated in town - close to various restaurants and cafes. We particularly enjoyed how relaxing the hotel was despite coming to Stowe to ski for weekend. The hotel had enough to keep us occupied if we were taking a day off from the mountain.

United States of AmericaNothing. There is nothing I didn’t like.
I was really surprised by just how cozy and welcoming the resort is. The location is perfect because you’re in the middle of the town and there is a ski shuttle to the mountain nearby. The room was listed as two queen beds, but it actually had 3 queen beds, two bathrooms and a separate bedroom. I only stayed one night but it instantly became my go-to hotel in Stowe.

Located in the very quaint town of Stowe. It was appropriately decorated given the history of the Green Mountains( home of revolutionary war player Ethan Allen).

CanadaQueen Room with a City view. Great value for the room. Great location - ability to step out and have shops and restaurants within seconds but it was noisy. I'm a pretty deep sleeper so it wasn't as disruptive to me as another person. But my husband found the cars were very loud early in the morning (like 6am). Sound proofing or something needs to be done to help with that.
Breakfast was great, liked the complimentary coffee/the time. Such a simple thing to provide to guests but was so great to have!

United States of AmericaThe TV however kept cutting out and the CBS channel didn't work at all. Also some more coffees for our second day would be nice. Also some tea bags. Breakfast wasn't very good. The coffee was horrible but we still had to pay for it.
The room was great! very clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and jacuzzi also.

United States of AmericaVery attentive staff. Facilities were immaculately clean! They had a welcome wine/cheese night when we arrived which was really fun. They gave us a welcome packet which oriented us to the area and gave us an idea of where to go in town. Whip Kitchen and Bar was really yummy food and super convenient as it’s located right on the property.
