Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere was a whole in the wall were the old AC was replaced with a much smaller unit. Lots of noise heard from the back. The shower water went everywhere. Lift was tight for large luggage, very slow, we used the stairs. The TV, lights and fan was constantly turning off and on. We were told in the morning that connections were badly fitted and it was likely that when we switched ours off, it turned the neighbouring room lights on- therefore we were constantly fighting it out throughout the night. Very strange but quite funny!
Location great for shopping and not too far from Ocean Drive and Espanol restaurants. Rooms were adequate, nice kitchen area. The hotel allowed us to check in early . Staff were friendly.

United StatesWe booked a standard King sized bed and we were placed in a room with 2 full sized beds in room 207. We didn't like the lack of daily room cleaning, they said on the third day cleaning would be done, but even after requesting, we never had our room cleaned once during our 6 night stay. They swapped out the towels only after requesting. There is no way to communicate with the front desk as there are no phones in the rooms. You have to call on your personal phone. There is a kettle as well as a keureg in the room, but no pods or tea provided. The microwave works and fridge was very cold. No tissues provided. There isn't a table to eat and only one chair in the room. There is a sort of hutch table that felt sticky to the touch. No full sized mirror. No closets, just an area to hang your clothes and few hangers. A small ironing board and iron were in good working order. The bathroom is very small. The TV is a smart TV, you can log into your streaming accounts, but we saw the last guest left theirs logged in. Be sure to log out when you leave. The elevator is super small, maybe 3 people can fit. But luggage will require a couple of trips. Ceramic dishes, glasses and silverware are available for use, but no kitchen sink, we had to wash in the bathroom sink. They provided paper towels. We won't be staying here again and cannot recommend this 1 star hotel, as that is how we see it now.
We loved the location. The staff was friendly and the room was clean upon arrival. We booked a king sized room but we were given a room with 2 full sized beds. The hotel was sold out so we didn't have a choice but to accept without a refund of any kind.

PortugalThe bathroom has a fan that makes a lot of noise! The same goes for the AC. The room is only cleanned every 3 days, and you need to be yourslef tajing out the trasnh. It feels more like a mini/small airbnb in a hotel
The hotel had a great location, really close by Lincon Road mall and 7 min walk to the beach! The hotel has a partnershop and "offers" you 2 beach beds in the beach next to the hotel (you can then rent for 20$ a beach umbrella), and they also give you v«beach hotwels.. With several restaurants and supermarkets near by. The room had 2 king size beds wich are more than enough for a family of 4. It has a small ktichent. Altough you can't cook, you can make some coffee and eat some snacks. Next to the hotel there is a partking lot, which in case you rent a car it is very simple to park (even if you have to pay). Spending some days in Miami at the peack of srping break, it was really good value for low money.

TurkeyThe room was a bit small. The windows were not clean. I was only able to check in after 4 pm as the room was not ready by 4.
Good room for the price compared to price. The room had even a microwave. The location of the hotel is great. They provided contactless check-in.

BelgiumNo 24/7 front desk. We arrived very late and had to call the customer service hotline to get settled in. In the end we were given a room different from the one we had booked. The issue was solved the next day when a front desk employee was there.

Trinidad and TobagoLet me relate , I unfortunate to have an unauthorized credit card transaction online. I needed to contact my credit card provider, but I had no calling plan on my mobile phone for use in the United States. I ask the reception if I can make a call to my credit card explaining the situation. He tried to make a call from the landline phone with the numbers I had.provided, but said that he was unable to. I asked the manage for an alternative phone to make the call, but he said his phone is for personal use and cannot help me. I was very disappointed that they could not assist me with one phone call , so I can direct my credit card be put on hold.
The location was within walking distance to the popular shopping and dinning areas, especially near Lincoln road. Free beach chair and towel .

Puerto RicoThe hotel needs a serious makeover! I felt like I was going in to the Tower Hotel from Hollywood Studios. It looks that old and got the same vibe. Also, take a multiplug with you, we were 4 people and we needed to unplug the lamps since there was only two outlets in the room. One in the bathroom and another one in the little closet. I don’t remember if on the property facilities they say there is parking, but they don’t offer it. There is one right next to the hotel and for 24 hrs it was $60. There is a parking garage a little bit down the street that is a little bit cheaper. The price I paid for 1 night($316 with taxes + fees)was way more than I would pay for a place like this. Maybe location justifies it? Maybe not. Is on the $60-90p/n range.
Location is perfect. Walking distance to shops, restaurants. We went for the Miami Marathon so we just needed a place to sleep. We were looking for a place close the Convention Center where the shuttle would pick us up and this hotel is very close to it. I found my room clean which was something other reviewers talked negative about and I was worried. I always carry Lysol and Clorox wipes with me just in case and did not used them. The person at the front desk when we checked in was very nice, as well as the one when we checked out. Sorry I did not get they’re names. Overall if you just want a place to take a hot shower and sleep this place is ok.
